Here's a quote from Alanna Rizzo, CU grad and and Colorado Rockies commentator, on her Facebook page on the Wisconsin game, "
I have YEARS of hatred for the Nebraska Cornhuskers because I attended CU for both of my degrees. Coupled with the fact that I lived in Madison, WI for 3 years and covered the Badgers, I CANNOT wait for Nebraska at Wisconsin football tomorrow night. ON WISCONSIN!!!!!"
I will never understand the mindset of the CU fan......the Buffs are getting beaten like a rented mule every week, but a CU fan is more interested and passionate about a Husker loss....
and we have Husker fans on Allbuffs still coming to troll so what's the difference?

My post was a bit tounge in cheek. My thoughts on the other teams fans are carved in stone with those that really know me. "Without the other teams fans a lot of the fun would go out of College football. I count a lot of opposing fans as friends, Beach Buffs for example. I also use the word "hate" in a much lighter context than the true meaning implies. Basically its, "I hate them so bad ,because they play so good."

Hey TO how have you been? I hope the season is treating you well. I've been busy this year, doing a little football officiating, enjoying the hell out of it. Good luck today!!! Shoulder to shoulder

USC with its rich history or Utah who has gone undefeated twice in the last 5 years?
Exactly, we went from Oklahoma, a tradition rich program to, the University of Colorado????
Now ya know how we felt...
Ahh you weren't actually trying to bring anything of substance to the topic at hand, my mistake, carry on...
You're right I wasn't, enjoy being the New Mexico St of the PaC-12
I will and you enjoy being a douche for the rest of your life. *cheers*

Not that it's a big difference, but that would last 7 years for Utah, not 5. 2004 and 2008
I stand corrected, thank you.

Don't feed the troll. Peach Puff is just trying to stir things up.
Good lord, get over yourself, go back to dry humping some Euro-soccer guy... Your red was replaced with Utah Red and USC Cardinal
Anyhow, it's been a few days and Sweater Vest is still there. I am thinking they are going to let him stay through this season and see what options open up after the season and see what penalties are given out. Good luck this season.

I'm not convinced he's going to get canned. If they were going to fire him it would have made more sense to do it a long time ago before spring practice started.
Good point, unless they had reason to believe that the allegations were not going to be this bad.

Appreciate the responses. I don't think Meyer will come back anytime soon but if they do have to pull the trigger in Columbus I have to believe they will go after big names and especially those with with ties to the school. So I think they will make inquiries into Bo but also Stoops. They will want the best name they can get that is for sure and be willing to pay. It will be interesting to watch this play out.

ESPN is reporting that Ohio State could be facing sever sanctions over Tressel's lying to the NCAA. I am beginning to believe that Tressel's job could be in jeopardy and a couple of guys that work with me were talking about who the leading candidate would be and we all agree that Pelini might be at the top of their wish list if they had to fire Tressel. Not trying to stir the pot because it doesn't matter anymore, I was just trying to get a feel if any of you guys were having the same thoughts or not?

Good luck to you guys. FYI Dan Beebe, the guy that mailed you guys your Big 12 North trophy was on the selection committee.

His daughters' names are Crimson and Bear....lol

One of the more famous plays that John Elway ran was a play called Red Right Sprint Right Option, basically a QB bootleg to the right side of the field where John had the option of running it or throwing it, to me it was probably the most decisive play ever ran, almost guaranteed to score for the Broncos. The other night at our local sports bar while watching the BCS Championship game someone said, what play should Oregon run, I yelled Red Right Sprint Right Option, instead Oregon ran an off tackle play from the spread on 4th and goal which resulted in Auburn getting the ball back, silly nubs.....lol

He could possibly break the Husker sack record of 29.5 by trev alberts. Crick is at 19 IIRC.
might be tough in the run happy Big 10...

Ya'll stressed too much over the comparison, if anything you all should be flattered. When a player comes out with the talent of a Suh then why would other great defensive linemen that are coming out of college not get compared? Nick Fairley is a handful on the field and gives a little extra, I am a huge Denver Broncos fan and would love to see him in a Denver uniform next season, that horrible defense could use someone that gives a little extra. Nick is a good kid, I have been on the sideline with him twice now when he was in highschool at Williamson High in Mobile, Al. He was very respectful and gracious but played and competed superhard. Give me someone like him that goes the extra mile every play over an Albert Haynesworth who is notorious about taking plays off.

Peace out...

Finally my D steps up....
and I hate your kicker....lol
Haha. Yes, your D steps up... /accepts 30 yards in penalties.
was there one that wasn't legit?

Cunnigham: "Henery is arguably one of the best kickers in the history of college football" Yet hes not even a finalist for the best kicker of the year award. Who are the voters? Do they even watch college football?
Mason Crosby got screwed as well, mainly because of Hawkins always trying to get him to kick 60 yard field goals, and now he is one of the best kickers in the NFL...
