  1. agreed. The big difference between moo, nub, and ku last year was baylor. There would have been a 3 way tie at the top if all three played the same schedule.
  2. This. And clemson finished the year 4-5 Do some research before you post. After the Bowden mess that started the season, Clemson finished 7-6, including 3-1 over their last 4. Not to mention a 31-14 ass kicking of in state rival and SCC team South Carolina. Clemson would have destroyed KU if they had played in a bowl game. http://clemson.scout.com/3/fbschedule.html#2008 back at ya, what i said is absolutely correct. Clemson would have destroyed KU? The same clemson that was 4-4 in the ACC?? are you kidding me? VT said the same thing before the OB in 07/08.
  3. This. And clemson finished the year 4-5 And you beat MU when they finished 1-2. so? our d held them under 52.
  4. This. And clemson finished the year 4-5
  5. yes, your vaunted D. Here is the most telling stat from the B12 last year Scoring D. Nub 28.54 p/game KU 28.85 p/game and remember you had baylor as compared to Texas on the schedule. You can say all you want about how nubs D is going to be great and you were way better then KU's D last year. I don't see it, you gave up just as many points, with an easier schedule. You return 7 on D we return 7 on D.
  6. You give Mizzou too much credit. They had 2 good seasons in a row for the first time under Pinkel. They will not have 3. They will lose to Nebraska handily, and very likely to Baylor. This Mizzou team will resemble their 2004 team. yeah. what he said.
  7. Here is what I do not understand. Based on last year. NCAA D Rankings Rushing #21 Nebraska #28 KU Passing #89 Nebraska #114 KU Scoring #80 Nebraska #82 KU I think both teams have some questions on D but I do not see how loosing as many starters on D that you did is going to translate to a better D.
  8. I have been saying it in a few threads now, but I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised with Lee's performance this year. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised by his play. Kind of like I was when Keller got the start over Gantz. That was a pleasant surprise. To bad Keller didn't play in Lawrence.
  9. I know you arent talking about Nebraska because counting JUCO he has thrown more than two career passes. We had the National Juco offensive player of the year at RB, and he did very, very little for us last year... Oh, and it will be KU - Best offense, most returning talent. Biggest obstacle is schedule, some more new O-linemen and replacing LBs NU - Good overall, but secondary and new QB will hurt, pluce play KU in Lawrence MU - Just lost a lot of good, experienced players. CU - I see continuous improvement, it is just taking longer than expected KSU - Snyder's teams were not that good whne he retired, and the talent has dropped ISU - Brand new Head Coach without a lot f talent. THis is a hard one to call, but the situation lends itself to not a lot of wins.... Yeah, most juco RB's never do well in their first year, because the speed of the defenses are so much better in D-1. Zac Lee played in a very competitve leauge in california, and has been in our system for 2 years now, so I really expect him to start off as well as Ganz did. But he is a much more talented QB than Ganz overall. We will just have to wait and see. Our running backs are much better than KU's, so that will take alot of pressure off him. i think it would be harder for a QB to go from Juco speed to D1 than a RB.
  10. 1. Kansas - Going to score tons of points and should have a better D. (Going to win 2 of 3 from the south) T-2. Nub - Who did the blackshirts dominate again? Only returning 4 starters? To many questions. T-2. Moo - Could sting nub at home 4. Colorado - Still suck 5. KSU - Anyone else remember snyders last 2 years, now he has Ron's recruits. 6. ISU - Should be a little better than La-Laf.
  11. I can't stand their cocky QB Tyrod Taylor. After watching him showboating in the Orange Bowl, I want Suh and the boys to plant his face in the turf. Of course Mizzou has some bigtime payback comming their way. Orange Bowl?? Ohhhh...your talking about last year's game. Cause KU had him on his back most of the night in 2007. LOL. He looked scared that night.
  12. naw. its to get the OU NU fans to pay out 150 for the games. There will not be very many 90 dollar tickets for either game available. KU averaged 51K last year. So it is going alright.
  13. I like how he calls KU/MU the best rivalry in the north, but has it ranked behind NU/MU.
  14. Any word from Lawrence on how season ticket sales are going? I think the single game ticket for KU v NU is going to be a tough one to get...even with the $90 price. What I hear is that the season tickets are close to 40K and are set to break last years record. For you crazy husker fans that would translate to about 65K in your stadium. (I need no "we have 80K in season tickets" replies, was just making a comparison) So not bad. There are no single game ticks for NU. You have to buy a 3 pack to get the NU game. 150 i believe. If you come across any let me know. It's like the university is punishing me for living in Nub.
  15. Hopefully you guys will get a better bball team and help to fill the void. I like going to Lincoln for bball games.
  16. Yeah. I just think this year there are more "Middle" teams than great or bad. I just don't see any team going undefeated this year.
  17. I think it is going to be a great year. Roller coaster for a ton of teams.
  18. You didn't watch much much football this season did you?
