  1. Given that the donation is tax deductible, it's not exactly fair to ask for the same price that he paid to the Athletic Department. On top of that, the donation for those seats was only $150/seat for 2013 so I hope he isn't expecting to get $1500 anyway. Just my two cents.

I think those may have been $250 per but I agree with you.

    I don't think so - take a look:

  2. Anyone have any idea which direction the seat numbers work? Is seat #1 always on the left or right when facing the field? Or depends on the section/stadium?

I have been wondering the same! I'm seat 1 in section 608 and want to know which side I'm on.

  3. Players I'd like us to look at:

Jackson has an offer and is already committed to NU.

Pretty doubtful he makes it to campus, though.

  4. Don't be so quick to call the BIG weak. Indiana is going to be good, Purdue is solid, Illinois will be better too and unfortunately for us, we only get Indiana here. Actually, if the sker's and Hoosiers improve as much as expected, I can see the BIG getting an at large even with Indiana's low RPI.

I also expect Indiana to be the media pick to win the BIG (Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, in that order)

Replace Illinois with Michigan State and I agree.

  5. FYI...

Nebraska Football is known across the country for its amazing fans who helped establish the NCAA record sellout streak, which began this month 50 years ago. What started with 31,080 fans on November 3, 1962 has grown to include sellouts of more than 85,000 fans per game. Now, with Memorial Stadium’s expansion, you have the chance to become part of our great game day atmosphere. Join the premier venue for college football by becoming a new season ticket holder or change your view by requesting an upgrade to your current tickets!

The expansion in East Stadium, which will bring the stadium’s game day attendance to approximately 92,000, will include two options for fans who want to purchase season tickets. A $50 per ticket deposit is required for all new or additional seating requests (no deposit required for seating exchanges).

    • Club Seating: Fans can join the waitlist for new Club Seats in the East Stadium, which are located under the overhang of the Suite level but feature an unobstructed view, providing an outdoor seating option with some protection from the elements. The club seating area will feature chairback seats with armrests, escalator and elevator access from the ground level and dedicated concessions and restrooms for club seating patrons only. Donations for this area will be between $1,500 and $2,500 per seat depending upon location of the seats. If you are interested in requesting new seats in this area or moving some of your current seats, please click here and complete the form by Friday, November 23 to be considered in the first round of seating allocation.
    • General seating: Fans can also join the waitlist for new seats located atop the East Stadium suites. This new area will feature bench seats with a backrest rail, escalators from the ground level for easy access, dedicated concessions and restrooms for upper level East Stadium patrons, and a fantastic view of the entire field. Donations are likely to begin at $150 per seat, but we will seat the highest per seat contributors first in this area. To join the general seating waitlist for new tickets or to exchange your current seats please click here. Requests must be received by April 1, 2013. Current ticket holders wishing to exchange seats will receive an invoice for the seats they held in 2012.

Don’t miss out on these great opportunities and get on the waitlist today!

  6. Have to run so I didn't read through this thread, but I bought one endzone season ticket for $150 in order to secure 24 group tickets to the Nebraska game. Ended up with seats in section 105. Seemed like a solid investment to me, especially considering that the NW ticket representative told me that he didn't think there would be any available tickets for the Nebraska game to go on sale to the general public due to demand. Plus, group tickets are $5 cheaper per ticket than the regular single-game price. Again, sorry if any of this was stated in the thread.
