  1. There is a capitalist component. You want to make as much money as you can with the seats you have, so you want to price your tickets to optimize that. In the case of the Huskers, it usually sells out, so you price it just high enough so that you can get all the tickets sold.

Pretty pathetic if you ask me... we don't charge KU, Oklahoma, Colorado, etc... any more to come to a game than Florida Atlantic, Arkansas St, etc...

I guess I take for granted that we don't have to rely on other fan bases to sell our tickets...

Yes we do. $55 non-conf and $65 for conference games.

  2. Well I'm actually still a student at Nebraska despite living in Colorado - it's a weird situation and a long story, but my point is I'm not worried about the student section. In fact, I wanted to show my friends the student section because I feel like that's where the most passion and energy is.

I know you need a wristband if you have student tickets, but are you sure braves that you must have one to enter the East Stadium at all? I've only ever used student tickets - how would you recommend going about this if I'm going to be getting about 4 tickets, 3 of them for nonstudents. Will it be impossible to get into the East Stadium (in my opinion the best side) if you're not a student?

Well, I think (but I've never tried it myself) that you can enter into South stadium and then walk all the way around - South to West to North to East. Definitely can't go from South to East, though. Hope this helps and GBR

  3. OK, a lot of incorrect responses so far. I'm a current student so let me clear this up.

East and South Stadium student sections are both GA. You won't be able to sit in East because you need a wristband, which you only get when you show your ticket. You should be able to maneuver into South, but you'll need to get there at least 2 or 2.5 hours early to get a decent seat since it is GA. Many people wait for 5 or 6 hours before every game to get good seats in South.

Also, I think you will be treated much nicer not sitting in the student section. Unfortunately, some of us are jerks.

  4. That is a common thought outside the program. The thinking is that we should have never been good anyway...or that we were never really good anyway, which is crazed......and, as such, we will never be able to re-attain that kind of glory ever again. Back to that star-based recruit talk, but there are still people who believe those at the top of the rivals recruit board are the best in the nation. We simply aren't up there enough for them to have that opinion of us.

Florida State isn't that far away. I think they are at 26.

  5. So a couple buddies and myself are debating going to the VT game. We're only students at UNL with season tickets (no donors), so getting the allotted tickets from VT is out of the question. Current Stubhub prices start at $240, which is super high. My roommate thinks that ticket prices will only get higher, while a different friend thinks that they will drop after the season starts (especially after the VT-Alabama game). Should we wait? I'd rather not spend over $200 on a ticket for the game. Do you think the prices will drop? Is there another route we should explore to find tickets? Thanks so much for the help and GBR!
