I don't want Claey's, but I'm really high on Jay Sawvell. Thought he took Minnesota's defense to a good place, his linebackers where solid and he had consistant high draft corners. I think it's really late in the game to be firing a coach so my money is on one of these 2.

If NU doesn't look at Greg Bohl from Wyoming, I personally think they are making a mistake. Someone is going to grab this guy in a couple years and he will be a big deal. I keep seeing Jerry Kill thrown around, which is crazy, but I think Bohl is a better Jerry Kill. He has won everywhere he has gone and is able to find guys and make them succeed.

If the B10 wants 2 teams from the west and wait for ND or grab a Rutgers or something why think about Mizz? If I were thinking about the money the big 2 sports bring, why not grab the Huskers and the Jayhawks. Nebraska brings nothing to the table with its basketball program, but Kansas would bring decades of success in that dept. And vice versa in the football dept. Which may be moot if KU and KSU are a package deal.

I have been talking to a guy who does a bunch of Gopher stuff and he said if Minnesota doesn't get this guy Coach Brewster is going to have some people questioning his coaching future, especially being he was brought here because of his recruiting prowess. And if he can't land a local guy then what chance does he have on a national stage.

I'm not worried at all. I look at all the other schools around the country that have new coaches and they are struggling a bit. We won, I saw improvement on the defense so it's a step.

I think we are going after a LB in him. And Bo may think Fullbacks make good linebackers because they are speedy and like to hit

It was everything I expected, very vanilla. They were looking to work on fundamentals in a game environment and piece together the few remaining starter positions. They were not going to give away the play book, get people hurt or blow peoples socks off with crazy schemes.

There was a ton of ex players on the sideline so it was a good time to get stuff signed if you didn't get your Tommy Frazier or Ahman Green jersey signed back in the day.

Pelini said it in his post game, they have a long ways to go. So come Monday morning at 6 am everyone will be back to work fixing more things.

Don't blame the coaches because none of the white recievers could run a post route and get open. I'd be more worried about the fact the recievers couldn't hold onto the balls thrown at them.

He is definently not D1 runningback material, but as a DB or special teams guy this kid my turn some heads. He plays with a ton of heart, it will be interesting to see what he does this fall.

My thought is with the possiblity that Miles is going to Michegan and the fact that it doesn't sound like LSU would even look at Pellini. Could TO bring in both Gill and Bo, Gill be HC and Bo be AHC, but basically have Bo here as a HC in training so in a couple of years when he is ready and other teams come knocking he is free to go.

That's my 2 cents because if both Turner and Bo are learning from each other and TO, then the likelyhood of success is that much greater.

How viable of a candidate is Monte Kiffon? ESPN's Bruce Feldman was saying that he really wants the job. What's the chance Kiffon is brought in with Gill brought as Ass HC to learn and grow then take over when Kiffon is dead?

I think Jason brings up a great name Bud Foster. He is outside the box, but he knows college football, knows tradition, and has put some great defenses on the field. And how awesome would it be to have to go up against Va Tech the next 2 years. I think I could really believe in him as long as he puts some thought into the OC.

Glenn Mason would be a disaster. I lived in Minnesota under his reign and you think Callahan didn't accept responsibility this guy would put him to shame. I would rather keep BC then let this guy anywhere near my program
