  1. Why do we leave a hobbled quarterback (who really brings no threat other than his legs) in the game when we have Zach Lee, a decent passer, on the sidelines watching? I think that a healthy Lee can make more plays than a crippled T-Mart. I know his shoulder is "sore" but T-marts ankle was also obviously SORE!!

    Just My 2 cents...

  2. I know our rival always has been and will be Oklahoma. But it seems like every single time that we play Texas we play them extremely close and always get screwed in the end.

    starting from 96 til now.

2002- Jamal Lord throws an interception in the endzone when we were down 3 points and already in field goal range.

2006- Terrence Nunn fumbles after we already got the first down with Texas with no time out left

2007- the terrible nebraska team takes texas to the wire in Austin until texas scores on an 86 yard run

    and tonight...

It just seems like we always play Texas extremely close and with oklahoma rebuilding I can see Nebraska and Texas being the main teams in the Big XII and competing for the Big XII championship year in and year out for the next couple of years.

  4. wow thats a funny story because i ran into him at a mall in lincoln but was to shy to introduce myself but i did get pictures of him to prove to everyone that i saw him and i was also funny because that was the night he got in trouble i believe it was sometime in the middle of march last year :dunno

  5. My guess is that if he had a chance to return he would have dressed for senior day. I think there is a lot more to the story than any of us know. Something pretty serious, not a kid just messing up.

I hope I am wrong, but there must be some sort of serious criminal charges involved with this. And I would guess it is not in Lincoln. Just thoughts, I have no further insight and I am not starting a rumor.

I doubt there are criminal charges, we would probably have heard something about that already. One would think anyway. Losing him is the biggest downer of the year for me. He was someone I really liked to root for.

    :yeah

  6. Ganz did not have a chance, what a year for the QB in the Big 12, if Suh would started out the gates as a game changer he would be first team no doubt.

Any other conference, any other year in the Big 12, Ganz would be 1st Team at the least. He has nothing to be ashamed of. The Big 12 had all the offense this year it seems, as the SEC had the defense.

:yeah I can't believe Suh is just 2nd team though

    :angry::wtf:bs: Suh second team?!

  7. i saw Boston College do the same fake but he faked the throwback and it went for a touchdown... maybe Bo will see that and try to do it but after that I think that evey team that we play will not even go after our field goal attempts and just rush 7 and play zone.

  8. Great game?

    Instant classic?

What other superlatives do you have?

Arguably the worst team in the conference has its way with your secondary on national TV and you consider a last-minute victory heroic?

You guys can't have it both ways. You go on and on about being the only school in the North to know what true greatness is, jealously making every effort to keep everyone else 'in their place,' yet you turn around and celebrate a win over the Puffs as if it were a BCS championship.

So what is it? If you truly are the 'NEBRASKUHHHH...' everyone else should bow to, why the big celebration?

    My, how things have changed...

    Meh....

By the way, feel free to name another team in the north to know, as you put it...true greatness.....I direct you to your empty trophy case to try and refute that.

As for this year, you may have scoreboard, but we have....

    -improvement as 2008 went on

    -tradition

-a college football atmosphere that is better when our University is successful

-the potential for a 9 win season that feels good for the first time in awhile

-a history of greatness, not some great years behind two great Qb's

But hey its all good. At least Columbia isn't an armpit......

You're right, it's not anywhere near as bad as Stincoln...

I have an idea. On December 6th, you can go to Lincoln and stare at the trophy case for three or four hours. It seems to be at the center of the Husker universe, the floating piece of timber you cling to as you drift in a sea of irrelevance.

Call me crazy, but I always thought the action was on the field. Anyway, while you're at it you might also want to polish that most recent crystal football - it has 11 years worth of dust on it.

I on the other hand will don my black and gold, go to Arrowhead and yell like a maniac for my team as they take the field to hopefully secure a BCS bid. Win or lose, I think I'll have the better time.

"Husker Nation: Eight-track Lovers in an MP3 World..."

well it looks like you guys are having trouble with a mediocre at best Kansas team with your "Stud of a QB" so I will take a win and enjoy it
