its kinda funny how people are so quick to forget about when they were in college... and so quick to remember how the championship husker teams looked off the field.. i'm not saying there should be no discipline.. but there is no suspension that would be happening.. people make mistakes.. its called BEING HUMAN.. he obviously isn't too stupid pulling a 4.0 with football every day also.. kinda like a famous quote.. "let he who is without sin throw the first stone" completly agree with that statment...

Vince Young didn't win the Heisman either. My point is that if you take Young off the Texas team, they don't win the NC. If you take Frazier off the 94 and 95 team, I think they still win the NC. Never in Frazier's career did he have to put the entire offense on his back and carry the team like Young did. If Young would have missed 3/4ths of the season in 2005, I don't think they even make the NC game like Frazier did in 94. Just wondering if you watched the Texas v Texas a&m game in 2005... Young's team put him on their back and had to continuely go try to pump/pick his pouty butt up off the bench..

Yeah maybe. Or someone who maxed out athletically at high school sports so he had to work his ass off to get through school on his own without parental spoon feeding, debit cards or "allowance" and used the RA position and the free room and board to cover expenses on thier way to graduating Magna Cum Laude only to find themselves stuck every other weekend making sure that a$$hole$ that get drunk don't rape girls who might someday be your daugther. I think it was more of a case of his girl being in the wrong dorm with a strict RA.. this stuff happens on every college campus.. football players along with everyone else develop that sense of invincibility when they drink... its the offseason.. give the kid a break.. if he had a pattern of this behavior it'd be a bigger problem

Tommy has to be on this list. People forget he was a pretty good passer along with being the best option quarterback ever. For many years thats what dominated college football was the option. I think that if he isn't even above Vince Young it is a clear statement of shortside th views of ESPN are becuase the only way Young is up here because of how recent his feats occured.

I think that is a very interesting point. This not only shows again that the hire of Callahan brought about a new attitude with a bigger emphasis on finesse in Nebraska football. If you look at all the great teams we had they were built on attitude and toughness, and I think that alot can be correlated with the reduction in the walk-on program.
