  1. I've kinda been a little bit of an Irish fan since I was a kid. They always came second to the Huskers though. As I've gotten older, I've grown to hate the fact that ND is always center of attention, media darlings, etc. Now with front butt at the helm, I'm finding myself drifting away from liking them. I will probably always still have that childhood attachment though.

    FRONT BUTT?!!!! :rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin:rollin

  2. I consider a ND loss as good as a NU win.

:yeah two things make me smile on Football Saturdays, NU winning & ND losing. Just their holier than thou bullsh*t. Like the affiliation with bowls & the BCS. Example, The Gator Bowl takes ACC, BIG XII or you guessed it : Notre Dame. I want them to keep Weis as a coach for 30 years. Hes almost pulled a complete Clownahan there. & I dont want to see it stop anytime soon.

  3. offensive coordinator has no clue what the f#*k he is doing and thank god their QB is below average.

Why #28 Spiller didn't get the ball about 25 times in the game is beyond my scope. Even after 8 silver bullets

Agreed. Spiller looked like he had the speed & moves to make our D look bad. Thank god they didnt realize that.

  4. It's eerie how close Swift/Ganz came to setting/tying a BUNCH of records/milestones:

Swift finished with 941 yards this year; record = Johnny Rodgers with 943 (1972)

Swift finished his career with 2476 yards; record = Johnny Rodgers with 2479 (1970-72)

Swift finished with 10 TD receptions this year; record = Johnny Rodgers with 11 (1972)

Ganz finished with 5468 career yards; 3rd all time = Tommie Frazier with 5476 (1992-1995)

Ganz finished the year with 25 TD passes; record = Zac Taylor with 26 (2006)

Ganz finished his career with 44 TD passes; record = Zac Taylor with 45 (2005-06)

I really like those two and wished they had come up with just that one extra pass...

wow. Crazy. Love the career passing yds. Joey played 16 games in his career finished 8 yds behind Tommie. My oh my how times have changed

  5. Was that actually Dan Fouts calling a 21-10 Clemson lead a "near blowout"? Has this guy watched any Big 12 games this year? Oh, and this was after he was saying how Clemson had stuffed the run just as Castille ripped off that 40 yard run. That guy was an idiot today.

That was freaking hilarious! The point diff was the same it was @ half. But 3 mins into the 2nd half, all of the sudden its a blowout. & then the"Theres no way NU can run on Clemsons D" followed nicely by a 58 yd run by Castille :dunno

  6. I kinda hope we arent ranked. Not that Bo will say it, but, I think it would provide just a bit more motivation going into next year. But if we are, I think 23 is as high as it would be

  7. To Mr. Suh, All I want for christmas is for you to come back for your senior year.

To Mr. Ganz, You are the epitome of a leader. Everything you went through in your career, you stayed positive. No matter what happens in the future, you can rest assured that you will be an inspiration for years to come. Thank You!

To Mr. Lucky, Thank you for staying your senior year. I'm sorry things probably didnt work out as you had hoped but I hope you learned some valuable lessons in your time here. Thank You

To Mr. Swift, Thank you for keeping your nose to the grind stone. congrats on a great career & best of luck in the NFL.

To Mr. Peterson, Thank you for keeping the walk-on alive & well @ dear old NU. Great career

To Mr. Pelini, Thank you for bringing back all the traditions to NU. Especially winning! my condolences to you & your family, but today, you made your dad proud.

To all the other seniors, I know it was a long strange ride here for 4 or 5 years. I apologize for the previous regime. Hopefully, today put a nice bow on everything for all of you & you can leave with your head proudly in the air.

  8. I am so proud for both teams. What an awesome and fun game. Thank you Tigers for being a class act and a talented foe. Best of luck next year.

:yeah Very well played game. & clean. Clemson picked up some new fans here in the great state of Nebraska.

  9. I have a feeling in the back of my head... oh wait, thats a hangover! no, seriously, I think somebody from the secondary is going to step up with a couple huge break ups or ints. Im thinkin its time for Asante to have that big game we've all been waiting for.
