Supposedly the bone he broke in his foot, if it does not heal correctly, can have career ending implications. I trust the medical staff knows what they are doing. I had a similar football injury in my hand/wrist. I broke a small bone in my hand that could prevent my wrist from being able to bend if it did not heal properly. I had surgury, they put a screw in it, and it healed just fine.

I played at the NAIA level and it is completely arrogant to say that anyone that plays at the high school level can play at the NAIA level! The main reason I went the NAIA route was b/c of some mistakes I made in HS regarding grades and I did not want to go the JUCO route. I think it is fair to say that the NAIA is very similar to D-III, except you can receive a scholarship in the NAIA.

 

I am not sure which NAIA schools you are around but there is some good football out there. If you look at two weeks ago, my alma mater (an NAIA school) defeated North Dakota (D-IAA team).

 

Anyone can be on a roster no matter the level...you work hard enough you can make the roster.

Wow, I was at my Parents house South of 44th and Madison Street. I was in town for the weekend while going to College out of state, and if you didn't have 4 wheel drive there was no way you were going to get out of South Omaha. I was supposed to go back Sunday Night and didn't get back till Wednesday.
