  1. Wow, What a piece of sh!t! Who does this guy think he is? (aside from the # 1 player in the country)

And this guy needs a mentor to help him make stupid ass decisions.

When I was 17-18 I could make stupid ass decisions all by myself. Still can.

  2. I believe protocol here is that you wait until the coach beats Nevada, only then do you work a new deal.

    LMFAO!! Too true.

How f'd up are things when you get a contract extension and fired in a matter of months. Sounds like B C magic.

  3. I am on the fence about the whole going for 2. I can see both arguements. Yes, going for 2 would have shown guts, confidence, and yes we did have momentum. But our success inside the 5 hadn't been great, and we dont have a great track record on 2 point conversions. Remember, we couldn't convert a 4th and 1 earlier. I think if we try and fail, many would question the decision.

Going for the kick was safe. Bo probably felt that we could ride the momentum into OT. Especially sinve the D had forced a 3 and out and a 4th and 4 situation on the 2 previous drives. With their kicker struggling and we have Henry, I think he felt confident in OT. The 1st play of OT on the swing/screen killed us and the momentum. I can understand why many would go for 2 and cant argue that a lot, but I think he made the correct decision.

    great points HANC,

I am just saying in a game with a team that is suppose to beat us by 200 points, we have a chance to win the game on one play ...go for it! -

Granted this is the thinking that resulted in TO never calling me about the vacant coaching gig last year.

Once again I dig your points.

  4. Crabtree could be the best player in the nation, unless you live in Florida then its Tebow

The better team won yesterday, props to Tech. As stated in previous threads I did get the old feeling of hope that used to permiate the Nebraska program.

We were in it and never quit, I love Pelini and his never quit attitude. We are re-BOrn.

  5. I did not know TAR lost til this morning reading the super awesome Husker Board.

I normally would pull for Big 12 teams as that is OUR confrence, and ALMOST hope to see Misery go to the NC game and would have liked to see fat boy in the running for the Hypesman. That was of course before Cheeseburger Daniels ran his pie/dough-nut/pizza/cheeseburger hole and let the whole world know that Nebraska is the "dirtiest" team ever formed and we ritually spit on people as a standard warm-up practice.

I now hope Misery loses all their games. And the best thing Misery has to offer,"Tufftiger" converts to GBR.

  6. I think that score should stay on the score board until the fist MU Tiger steps on to OUR field Saturday night. Good motivation I think.

Keep in mind it was the coaching staff's first big game.

Now for the negative part of this post: Larry Asante......I'll leave it at that.

  8. Octo and Demario in KC thats kicks ass. That's awesome Danny is getting a shot although it is with Clownahan, can't this guy get a break. As for Sam, if you wanted to play in the NFL you should have played better in the NCAA. And I like Sam. And I wasn't drunk on the second day and thought I saw a Iowa State guy get drafted. Go luck to all the former huskers. (cept 13)
