If you think KU is coming into lincoln and hang 70 on us you are dillusional. I think it will be a good game and you should be favored just because of last year. Don't be suprised if you run into a brick wall here though. You beat a team last year without a spine and they were defeated before they put their pads on. This years team will stand and fight. It should be a fun season

Exactly...Pelini will have the team playing with with confidence. Also, he will not let them give up.

Well, we don't have to worry about Callahan's methods anymore. Unless you are a Jets fan.

Sarah is in the wrong here and Coach Cook really made the right move.

 

Rule 1A of being an athlete:

 

Don't hang your teammates out to dry, especially in the media.

 

Sarah did this, obviously without addressing the coach or the team about her frustrations and how she felt. She essentially threw them under the bus for nothing they were aware of. Now she doesn't want to apologize for her mistake.

 

Also, how exactly is she "kicked off" the team? I thought she has already used up her eligibility as a player?

I'll stand at every game no matter what the people behind me say or think. I don't stand on the bleachers and I do sit down during timeouts, halftime, etc. I don't get to go to alot of games so when I go I'm going to stand and cheer until I can longer speak! I usually pay more for my tickets then the people around me so I'm going to enjoy myself and if someone doesn't like it I really don't care.

That is the same with myself. I don't know many people who have season tickets. Therefore, when I go to games I pay more than season ticket holders. I am a college student at a small college in Northeast Nebraska I do not have a lot of money to go to most games.

Huskers need some runs in the 8th and 9th to win this game..

I've wondered the same thing too. They are 3rd in their own conference. And then top ten in the nation.

If you had told me I'd see a kid from my high school pictured in SI, I'd a told you you were nuts......

We don't know who the starters are yet. In addition, it will be their last practice of this spring. Pelini proablly wants it to be fun as well as competive. Mixing up the players will make the scrimmage more competive and fun.
