1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Born RED

 

2) What/who led you to The Nation? Grew up a Nation member

 

3) Where are you from originally? South Sioux City

 

4) Where do you live now? Biker Capital =====> Sturgis, SD

 

5) Favorite Husker memory? I believe it was in the mid 70's. I was Pheasant hunting with buddies. Had the Husker game on the Radio. NU was down by 31 points going into the 4th quarter and they came back and WON.

 

6) Worst Husker memory? 93 FSU game. Refs tried to place the ball on the wrong spot. After fans going NUTS, they finally moved it forward to where it should be and than we missed the field goal.

 

7) Number of home games attended? 11

 

8) Number of away games attended? 1 Fiesta Bowl 2000. NU put a hurting on Tenn.

 

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? I have an unopened bottle of whiskey, ====> with NU's scores from 1970 on one side, 71's scores on the other side, and the score of NU defeating Alabama.

 

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) Was student section Memorial, what a party!

 

11) Favorite all time player? Wow, to many to count guys, sorry can't specify just one.

 

12) WCO or Option? Option, Plus a Bad A$$ defense

 

13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? Byrne

 

14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? HH

 

15) Favorite Husker play? Wow a lot of those also, but most recent was when Suh threw McCoy like a boy.

 

16) Favorite game-day beverage? Free Beer

I used to weld a lot --> got a 250 gal fuel tank --> and put in a rotiserairy. Had its head cut off, gutted, holves cut off, skin left on (it than weighed 165 lbs) --> three 20 pound bags of charcoal --> started at 9am and was done at 3pm. I invited people I met at the VFW/DAV/American Legion who happened to be in town for the rally and they had a great time. Die hard Husker fan here. Grew up in South Sioux City. I now live in Sturgis, SD. I was put out of the military after 14 yrs on disability. I lived than in Colorado Springs, Co. I raised my Husker flag every Saturday in Colorado. I got tired of all the idiots, so went on line looking for somewhere closer to Home(Nebraska), but without the humidty and mosquitos. I found Sturgis, SD. My question is have you been to the rally? Do you bike here? How often do you come?

I built my own whole hog roaster and used it for the first time this last rally. I plan on roasting a hog every year now during the rally. I had about 50 people this year and a lot of left over pork. I was thinking of making it an annual Harley Husker Hog roast during the rally. Last question, Would any of you Husker fans be interested in stopping by for some PIG?

Maybe I completely missed his point, but I took it that the fans are so much better in Lincoln than in Knoxville. He says we're polite while I'm assuming he's saying they are rude meaning they throw things at the opposing team, etc. It might have absolutely nothing to do with the players or the coaches but rather the hostile environment compared to our "polite" environment.

 

He means that the coaches wives won't get beat up in the stands or have urine tossed at them as opposed to some sh*thole like Penn State.

I went to the Fiesta Bowl in 2000 when NU played Tenn and we won, and if I remember right we won the year before also. So to say they would rather play a lesser oponent in NU, to me is back*ss thinking

After watching some more highlights, I want to know how you canseriously say that the option can't work (it has been said on this board to me many times). Last I checked, when you had a Crouch or a Frazier, you guys were AWESOME. put it back!!!! Leave the West Coast and the SPread for people who need that sorta help...

Haven't wrote here before, but I grew up in South Sioux and now live on the outside edge of Sturgis. I was just wondering how many of you ride your bikes here? I started roasting a whole hog this year and I'm thinking of making that hog roasting day --> a HUSKER day in Sturgis every year during the rally.

We will end Mizzo's hope. Chase will get caught and hurt.

6) Worst Husker memory? Last year at the NU vs USC game

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? I have an unopened wiskey flask. From NU's 70 & 71 champ seasons.

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) My man cave in Sturgis. I have 62" HDTV big screen.

11) Favorite all time player? Man so many. I can't pick just one.

12) WCO or Option? Mix! Both most option. But must have in the future --> better throwing the ball quarterbacks --> than in the past like J. Lord and J. Daily. But with Green coming --> we should be good for a few years to come.
