  1. Dailey just completed more passes today than all of last game. & completions will equal the total from the last two.

I think the passing gfame will be there today.

Nu has all ready attempted 20 passes. And according to rose everyone is almost intercepted

  3. Keiser needs to step up and stop droping balls, Phillips could be a stud and this situation is good for him and Mueller b/c the will get a lot more reps in Prac. and game time too. Phillips blocks really well and might take over the starting spot before the season is over. he was offered by KSU, Okla, and Okla St. Mueller is massive, 6'7 260!! a nice big target that is athletic for Joe to get the ball too. when Phillips and Mueller were recruited they said Phillips was the blocker and Mueller was the reciever. Man he is big boy

  4. Texas job might open up and most likely will if they lose a game the rest of the year. if Steve goes to Texas the big 12 would have the best coaches out of any conference. Spurrier, Callihan, Snyder, Stoops, Mangino,

  5. The player of the year from KC who couldn't be tackled last year stuck by Cally after the head coach switch. He reports for duty and is asked to pull his redshirt to play on SPECIAL TEAMS only. He then gets dumped from the special teams squad thus wasting a year of eligibility because of a bad coaching decision. He is pissed and now wants to transfer. Cant blame the kid.

  6. Big XII Bowl games...

    Houston Bowl: Big XII ???

Tangerine Bowl: Big XII No. 7

Fort Worth Bowl: Big XII No. 8

Independence Bowl: Big XII No. 5 or 6

Alamo Bowl: Big XII No. 4

Holiday Bowl: Big XII No. 3

Cotton Bowl: Big XII No. 2

"BCS" Bowl: Big X!II No. 1

  7. :star Take away the 26 points Iowa State hung on a horrible Baylor defense and it's averaging 9.25 points per game in Big XII play.

:star With Nebraska's passing offense in the tank, the running game has to work to win. That could be a major problem against the Cyclones who are allowing a mere 119 rushing yards per game.

:star Nebraska QB Joe Dailey has completed seven of 30 passes for 142 yards with no touchdowns and an interception over the last two games.

  8. Alberts praised Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan's decision to reverse his previous decision and allow all Husker players to warm up before games. In addition, Husker defensive coaches used a lighter approach with players in practices, leading to last week's win against Missouri, according to several players.

"I really want to commend Coach Callahan and his staff for a couple of seemingly minor philosophical changes that made a major impact. To see a head coach take a step back and admit a mistake. … In what can be an insecure profession, there aren't a lot of coaches who would do that.

"You can throw out Brad Smith's and the Missouri offense's struggles. Watching Nebraska's defense, you saw emotion, intensity, a want-to attitude. I thought that for a period of time, the team reflected the values of the Nebraska people.

"What you're starting to see is the players taking ownership of the team. Coach (Tom) Osborne always used to tell the players, ‘We'll do our best as coaches, but seniors, this is your team. You'll ultimately decide who and what you are.' The chemistry, leadership and ownership comes from the players.

"Now, Nebraska needs to build off of that Missouri game when the Huskers play Iowa State. The average person will say it'll be an ugly, low-scoring game. I think it'll be a battle, a test of wills. I like Nebraska, let's say 16-10, in a hard-fought defensive battle where defensive toughness and special teams make a big difference."

  9. Coach Wagner said that Schuler is still in school and working out, he watches practices and Coach Wags sounded as if Schuler would play if cleared. This could be huge for next year. Surely he's lost a lot of weight. He had blood clots I think.

  10. Here's a list of juco's I found, I like recruiitng a llot,,

Out of the top 25 JUCO players this year that have not yet committed,Texas A&M has the most offers to Juco. Here is the JUCO offer breakdown by school:

    Texas A&M 8

    Kansas,Kansas st, Ole Miss 4

LSU, Auburn, Oregon, Arkansas, Florida 3

    FSU, USC, Alabama,Miami,So Carolina,Oklahoma,Georgia,Miss st,Cal,Arizona st, N.C St,Oklahoma st,Marshall 2

    Nebraska, Arizona,Colorado,Kentucky,Oregon st,BYU,No Carolina,So.Miss,Wash st,Iowa,Louisville,Mich st,Tennessee,UNLV,Boise st,Nevada,Utah,Iowa st,New Mexico,Tulsa,South Florida,Jacksonville st,San Diego st, 1

The other top25 JUCO player Nebraska is offering is Frantz Hardy, but take it from a good source he is not interested in Nebraska at all because hed feels we have enough depth on WR and also because we have gone back to rushing the ball more then passing it and he wants a offense that spreads the ball around.

As far as the Prep school top25,the ACC has 10 of the 25 already wrapped up,the SEC has 7 wrapped up and the Big East has 3 and the Big10 has 1 and only 4 remaining that are undecided. This could be very interesting for 1 reason.Coach Callahan might miss out on the December 4th combine that Hargrave setup (400 college coaches expected to be in attendance) due to the Big12 Championship game that day. This is definetly a school Callahan and staff need to tap into for players. They have several NFL type players ready to play next season who could make large impacts
