  1. I was part of the military croud at the game...and let me tell you... a) i have no voice left, AT ALL b)the same goes for the 10 guys in the front row of the chairs that were next to me(listening to us reminded me of Milhouse on the Simpsons at times) c)...WE BEAT OU*A TOP 20 TEAM* AT HOME.

bring on KU, since helu is FINALLY back at 100%, the Preyhawks don't stand a chance....anyone else scooping up tickets for the JerryDome yet?COUNT ME IN! :bonez:bonez:bonez:bonez

  2. So, is there any kind of estimate on how many husker fans will be at the game on Saturday?? I thought I heard that the university was given somewhere in the area of 4000-4500 tickets, and I'm hoping it will be another Notre Dame :hellloooo ...buuut i dont think so, just thought I'd see what everyone thinks ...or might have heard?

  3. hey guys...i'm going to see Sawyer Brown in concert and just recieved word that I will be able to be a part of the meet and greet before the show.....

the reason I'm looking for a Brooke jersey is because as many (if not all) of you know, Sawyer Brown performed the "Nebraska Song" as a tribute to Brooke at the Nebraska State Fair in 1997 , and that song is on the "Six Days on the Road" album....and I would like if I can for the band to sign the jersey, and if at all possible, play the song with the lead singer (Mark Miller) wearing the jersey....if I can get this accomplished, I will most definitely record it and put it on my youtube page!

Brooke's death stands out to me as one of the only times in my childhood that I cried over someone I didn't know personally, and he still to me exemplifies the perfect role model for any up and coming Husker football player, and even just a young man growning up really. To this day, I still think they should retire Brooke's number...not because of his stats, but because of who he was, and what he meant(and really, STILL means) to Nebraska, and how we personify a Husker.

so, if anyone might possibly have a Brooke Berringer jersey ( i am REALLY hoping to get an authentic jersey-not a replica)....but i wont complain with either...PLEASE let me know, I do have a wide price range I am willing to go for this. Thanks Husker fans!!!

    bump..anyone?

  5. this is the same guy that started another trolling thread a while back i believe.....

Yeah, this is one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever seen and completely unrealistic.

OP, you do know that football players have to get recommendation letters from their high school football coaches in order to play college football. Essentially, you HAVE to play high school football to play in college. So, I don't know enough about Cookie, but he doesn't look like a football player in the least bit ergo I'm guessing he never played high school ball.

This should be the last post, so don't feed the troll guys.

..actually, no you don't...my best friend played soccer thru high school and got a scholly for college, went to college and hated it...so he started lifting and the college HC asked him to join the team as a WR, and he did.

..i played college football, and my h.s. coach never once talked to my college coach...my h.s. coach was one of the dumbest people i've ever been around(not even kidding)...my college coach would have just been like.... :nutz:woo ...when my college coach asked about my h.s. team and the coach, i told him(truthfully) that we regularly changed plays in the huddle because he had NO idea what he was doing(going 10-1 while doing it)..i told my college coach he was an idiot, and i'm fairly sure he believed me(there was another guy from my h.s. on the team as well-he said the same thing)
