    If you live in Wisconsin, and even if you don't, you are welcome to jump on the Packers and Brewers bandwagon, if that will help you forget about the Huskers this year. Or you can go to a lake, or find a hill to enjoy. :-) OK, I admit that was uncalled for, just having fun. There is life after college football, at least in Wisconsin anyway. Trust us we know, we've had teams that were bad for entire decades. Nebraska had one bad game, and maybe a nonHusker type year, but Nebraska football has always been one of the nation's elite programs, and will continue to be. Be proud of your team in red, even it has an N instead of a W on the jersey!

    Wow... Guess I should clarify... didn't go to work b/c I have the option to work at home as well (it's not like I called in sick). Guess sarcasm and humor are difficult to get across on the boards.

     

    Just had to post something to my fellow Huskers out there who may be feeling the same. I always stand behind the Huskers and wear my N with pride! Just a more difficult loss than usual for me... that's all.

    I know this is stupid, but I live in Wisconsin and didn’t go to work today b/c I couldn’t show my face… I was (still am) embarrassed of the Huskers this past weekend. This is just a hard loss to get over. Thinking about going on vacation the rest of this week or just quitting and starting over somewhere else... LOL!

    Good news is god willing we should beat baylor should being the key word. But the real nightmare comes November 7, 2009 when OU rolls into town, with this offensive we might just get shutout.

     

    Random question/comment (and no offense CGREEN - pun intended), but why use the phrase "god willing?" Maybe it's just a turn of phrase, but I really don't believe there is some magical higher power that will allow us to win a football game.

     

    Let's give the coaches and players a chance to right this ship, these fella's know how to play football but are having a rough stretch. Husker Nation please have some patience. I'm frustrated like the rest of you but let's stay behind dear ol' NU!

    I'm sure some have seen this, but can we make a link to the website below a permanent thread? We need to get moving folks!!! Get on here and vote! Anything we can do as fans to help Suh get noticed more by Heisman voters will help. Plus, I might become physically ill if Jimmy Clausen get's anymore votes...
