  1. For the record, I stopped short on this post. Crybabies Is mild to what I was thinking. Most of my 1000+ post came pre-2007. I stopped posting with any regularity after I heard the boo-birds at memorial stadium because I know that the people who booed then are the same people who post about how they are disgusted and embarrassed and all of that.

There are some shining stars on this board (Cy, BRI, rob, et al.) but even these beacons of humor, pride and fandom cannot outshine the fire posted by many.

    :sarcasm

Maybe there is to much passion with the Husker fans that post on Husker Board. Maybe you are just to sensitive about the criticism that takes place here. Everyone has an opinion and is free to voice it, and with that you are free to agree or disagree.

Maybe we need a Sunshine forum, where only positive comments can be made and the Koolaid can flow over each post. :koolaid2:

  2. I am here just to let you know that the jayhawk fans have not jumped the bandwagon. Still here and

this Jayhawk is coming to Lincoln. The only time I have been to Lincoln was for the 06 KU/NU game and

    that was a nailbiter.

I really think this one will be the same. The KU defense has me worried and the Neb offense

has shown flashes of what it can do but....Nu has the same problems with the addition of turnovers.

Look for us to pressure Ganz a lot and try to take away the run. At the end of the day...Ku wins 27-24

Heres to a great game for bowl eligibility

Sure they have - the basketball team is starting practice.

IF Kansas would practice on their brand new practice field, my son said he would put the video on you tube SINCE THE FIELDS WERE BUILT IN THE OPEN and every house across the street can see everything that is going on. Well there is a blind spot behind Mangino.

    :rollin:rollin:rollin

    "Blind Spot Beehind Mangino!!"

  3. With Ole Miss beating Florida and Stanford beating USC last year, I'd say it's ignorant to say we absolutely will not win. That said, odds are most certainly in OU's favor.

My as well lump in the CU-OU game from last year. OU was suppossed to roll, but they shot themselves in the foot and CU capitalized and won. Anything is possible, which is why we play the game.

    :yeah

The Sooner Defense doesn't always show up to play every game, but their Offense has put up big numbers so it hasn't mattered. (except for the Texas Game)

Our Defense has to play without errors and force turnovers, then the Huskers have a chance to win.

    :restore

  4. It is a f'd up world we live in. BRI sees it on a first hand level.

The problem with being in this line of work is you see this crap and then you start thinking that there are more bad people out there than good. :hmmph

BRI you don't get to spend as much time with the good people....but they are there. I am sure I don't have to tell you that just when you think you have seen it all...something else will come along that will raise the bar to another level. Ugliest woman has been an ongoing competition that never has a alltime champion!

  5. No way Texas gets rid of Mack Brown and I think he'd be at Auburn out of those. He was the D-coordinator there before right???

Mack Brown has only been the Head Coach at Texas(Since 1998) and has always coached on the Offensive side of the Game. :ahhhhhhhh

Muschamp has never stayed put for very long, and is the highest paid Assistant in the Big VII. He will go with whoever has the most to offer. Texas Defensive Coaches have always been a fast track to other schools, ISU's Coach Chizik is a former Texas Defensive Coach.

I think you might have gotten my post confused? I was just saying that Mack won't be leaving Texas and then the rest of that comment is directed towards Muschamp.

Yes I was confused! And Yes I agree with you! Mack Brown isn't going anywhere.

Muschamp has never been at Texas before this Season.....this is his first and my opinion he will be moving on for more money and a Head Coaching spot!

  7. :bang

We can debate all season on the "Blackshirt Issue." I think some of the players have earned through their play a Blackshirt but as a unit they are not there yet. I think we will see them before the season is over.

The Blackshirts of old were not perfection....and the players themselves decided to stop wearing them. When the Defense and Coach Pelini say it is time, they will be back.

  8. I'm not voting for Obama for a variety of reasons including the Ayers deal, but the fact that Ayers is speaking at UNL doesn't bother me. If a person doesn't want to listen to him, they don't have to go. This is still America, well at least until Obama is in charge.

On another note, not sure this is the right forum for this, but oh well.

    :yeah

Ayers is ***hole, and would be better on Jerry Springer and another Thread!

  9. show me actual facts

    ISU-horrible team

BU-not buying into it besides the QB they aren't that good.

    OU-good team, probably a loss.

KU-ranked below TT and we have them at home. Not the same KU ISU showed that.

KSU-another bad team, I've watched them more than once this season and haven't been impressed.

CU-sliding downhill fast, QB is less than steller and their offense can't get going. Too many injuries.

    those are actual facts??

    don't think so tim.

just more opinions like everyone else has.

    and opinions vary.

the good news- the games will be played and we will know the actual facts.

    Take the weekend off Bo!

Um, I'm pretty sure I didn't say those were the actual facts? I said, "Show me the actual facts," meaning what would lead that poster to believe, if we play the next 6 games like we did last Saturday, we would lose those games? Read the entire post first before you try and call me out on my opinions. :dunno

    I did.

you missed the point. He had as many actual facts as you did.

    none.

you (like him, like everyone) have opinions. The facts won't be known until AFTER the games are played.

    thanks for playing.

    Okay.....................................your wrong, but okay.

    :yeah
