A sleeper no more:
Texas Sleeper Waking People UpPosted Nov 17, 2008
Chris Omigie of Martin High School in Arlington, TX has flown under the recruiting radar but after posting solid numbers as a senior, Omigie has emerged as one of the fastest rising prospects in Texas. Scout.com caught up with Omigie to find out who has been in contact.
Every year, players that were unknown before the start of the season, emerge to become some of the hottest prospects. An example of one such hidden gem is, Martin High School's Chris Omigie. Holding only 1 or 2 offers prior to the season, Omigie now holds offers from Kansas, Nebraska, Ole' Miss, Purdue, Buffalo, Ohio, Army, Western Kentucky, Washington State, Baylor, Iowa and Colorado State.
....
"I took a visit to Colorado State about five or six weeks ago and I'm taking one to Nebraska for the Colorado game and then I'm going to Kansas sometime in December."
Well thats good that his only other gameday experience was Colorado State.. Lets blow him away!!!

At least these seniors will end on a high note, a bowl game. The seniors I felt the most sorry for were last year because of the way the season went down and all the things that happened during the season (Pud fired) and after the season (Clownahan fired). I'd say the seniors last year were the ones that got the shaft just because of all the things that happened during and after the season and then how the season ended by getting throttled by CU.
I am glad that this years seniors are going to get to a bowl game... hopefully it can end on a even higher note and win a bowl game

First we need to take care of business against Colorado
Then after we do that I think we will head to the Sun bowl.. I would really like the Gator bowl but I think they will give it to ND even after they get destroyed by USC
-
I think he should have stayed at WVU
He was actually winning there
-
I agree with every pick too

T Frazier easy

Now with Logan gone 1 for 3

It's tough but since we are talking about idiots I have to say Colorado fans
Example last week with the laser pointer
-
I don't think we have a chance in hell of getting him!!
Hate to say it but we were out awhile ago

Once again a very nice video!!!

Broke county rushing record. Visited Purdue this weekend and will visit Kansas on Dec 6th according to post on Recruiting Planet.
I doubt he ever makes that visit to Kansas.
why?
Cause he'll be committed to Nebraska.

Our offense has been rolling all year and i hope it continues for the last two games

Nebraska 56
Colorado 35
Rushing 216
Passing 343

No way an 11-1 USC team doesnt get an at large bid, even if they dont win their conference. Personally, I'd love for Oregon State to win the Pac 10 so Ohio State has to settle for a mid major bowl
I agree with you but the way the Utah, Boise State, and Ball State are ranked there only might be one at large bid left and who knows who they would give it to, USC or a Big 12 South school

I know this isn't football and a little off topic but marquette's basketball uniforms are pretty sweet

Yeah it would be great to see him in there... But i also hope Glenn gets his name called as well
-
So is it still looking like Ohio State or what?

I'm watching the OSU-CU game and have noticed that CU's offensive line is pathetic. With the way our d-line has been playing i think we should be able to completely dominate CU
Their offensive line has been decimated by injuries. The upside is it will certainly work in our favor for this year's game. The downside is that a LOT of younger players are getting time - which will only help them next year...
Very true
But we will also be better next year as well!!!

Will NU be ranked by the end of the season?

If we win out and play someone good in a bowl game I think that we could be ranked in the early 20's but I dont think anything higher then that
