  1. When was the last time there was a great WHITE running back? <_<

Put him at WR or slot.

When was the last time there was a "GREAT" white WR or slotback? Wes Welker @ Tech? Not "GREAT" or game changing IMHO

I could not be more tired of the "next great white" anything talk! Color has nothing to fu@k!n do with how good of an athlete you are, how elusive you are, or how good of a football player you are. RB or otherwise. These types of psuedo racist ideas only make you sound like a complete jackass. Enough already!!!

Yeah you're right your race has nothing to do with your athletic ability. :sarcasm It just so happens there are no "white" running backs in the league. Race has nothing to do with preperation or work ethic but in natural athletic ability I have to disagree. There is nothing racist about our comments. They are just facts. Clemson's athletes sure were slower than ours. :sarcasm You sir are ignorant and the JACKASS!!!!

  2. We need to create a new position called "Percy Harvin" and put him there.

    Edit:

    Nate Swift?

GOOD yes, "GREAT"...ehh He will prolly make a NFL team as a free agent. I guess your definition of "GREAT" and my definition of "GREAT" are two different things. Johnny Rodgers "GREAT" slotback/wingback. :thumbs

  3. Anyone who doesn't say RB has not been paying attention at all.

Every time when asked, he has said that he was recruited to play RB. Obviously people don't always end up where they are recruited to play, i.e. Cody Glenn, but i would like to see one person in husker nation who predicted him to switch to LB for his senior year. All anyone has ever said that is connected with this kid is that he is being recruited as a running back. Why would anyone discount this?

He will play wherever the coaches feel the need to put him. BTW when exactly was it that PELINI said he was playing running back, I guess I HAVEN'T paying attention. :sarcasm Oh yeah he doesn't mention recruits by name so everything is just speculation. Having a defensive minded coach I wouldn't discount seeing him on that side of the ball.

  4. Well why didn't the "WE's" just tell BC to redshirt Q and Helu, I mean being tax payers it's ultimately the "WE's" decision and all.

The "we's" ultimately had the final say with BC. I won't deny your point that no one has a direct say but the head coach, but you reap what you sow. No offence if any was taken

  5. Did you guys hear the part where he said something about Harley being the quarterback for the basketball team and how NU needed some help at QB on the football team in the recent past??

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he said Harley could play "cornerback" for the Blackshirts, and that led to his comments about how he (Harley) couldn't be any worse than the cornerbacks playing for the Blackshirts the last few years. <_<

  6. I'm really excited for what these guys will do for us in the next two years.

However, I feel their freshmen years were basically pointless, Q had 347 and Helu had 212. Fine, that's nice and all, but a redshirt year would've done wonders for these guys.

I feel they basically lost a year of eligibility because they played so minimal their freshmen years.

I don't know about "WE" because we don't have a thing to do with it. bc burned more redshirts than those two guys.

Yeah "WE" It's our state University. "WE" pay taxes, "WE" buy tickets to the games, "WE" donate to the facilities. "WE" the fan base makes our school one of the best in the country.

  7. I really dont expect ESPN to have the Huskers #1 but it was my top 10 and I must say I am a little bias.

but this isn't ESPN picking these... it's their formula that is picking them.. whoever ends up in the top spot just fits that formula. pretty much the most unbiased this convo would ever get.

I understand the formula ESPN is using. The bias comment was in reference to my own personal top 10. (see top of page)
