We played Lincoln Southeast who had both Ruud Brothers, Dane Todd, Brandon Rigoni, Alex Gordon, Nick Bahe...Played Danny Woodhead, Kade Pittman, Kurt Mann, Nick Leaders(Iowa St)...Might be a few others but can't remember...Those Southeast teams were sick!!

Last time I checked that pass happy Big12 has 5 teams ranked in the top 25 and not counting Nebraska the Big10 would have 3!! But yeah you're right it's a totally different animal

Voted for Polk simply because he is their only running threat and will be the staple of their offense this Saturday. He's not better than any of our guys, but not one of our players will be rushing the ball as much as Polk will be, IMO.

Have to completely disagree with that statement that I highlighted in bold. Polk is by far more talented than Martinez or Burkhead running the football and is a lock to be playing on Sundays. Burkhead and Martinez will be lucky to get drafted at all. Polk is the #3 rated RB currently while Burkhead is #17. Looking at Michigan St schedule he might want to worry about the first 7 games before setting his sights on the Blackshirts!! It isn't gonna be easy except maybe the first few!! I could see this team limping into Lincoln on Oct. 29th!! That looks like a pretty rough stretch from ND to NU

I don't really think the talent gap between tOSU and NU is as far apart as some think...Last time I checked Crick, David and Dennard might just be the best players at there positions in the country!! LSU beats Bama, Bama beats Auburn and LSU loses to Arkansas...I think Boise, Utah and TCU are basically screwed anyways...People will keep jumping them...Obviously an Oregon loss wouldn't hurt either but I just don't see that happening

This whole situation makes me sick. They are going to rob a player of a game for playing hard...You only have so many college games in your career and to get one taken away for this is just sad. Sorry but its not his fault the Okie St player wasn't paying attention...Guess what you go full speed or you get hurt and that's exactly what happened here. That's the rule you learn when you start football. Don't blame someone for trying to make a play or a block. It's easy for announcers and fans to sit on there a** and say this and that but unless you have played at this level you have no clue how fast this game is really moving until you're in it and expected to make a play. Tell you what, watch some games this saturday and you will see the same thing happen over and over on almost every kickoff and nobody will be suspended. Why isn't the Okie St player suspended for going helmet to helmet on Martinez? Why does a guy who gets a DUI going 32 over the speed limit get the same suspension as Martin. Does nobody realize he could have killed someone or himself? Makes me want to puke

Here is Boise St schedule compared to Alabama and Florida's schedules...I took Florida and Alabama cause they play in the toughest conference...The number beside each team is where they currently rank...I used the current Coaches Poll for any teams ranked in the top 25 after week 1...The other rankings are College Football News 1-120 rankings after week 1..Now I'm not saying Boise St isn't good team, cause they are but lets face it there schedule is horrible...how many games would Boise St win if they traded schedules with Alabama or Florida?

Personally I dont get why everybody thinks VTech isn't that good. Last I checked they were Ranked 6th with there only loss to #3 Bama. Yeah Tyrod might not be the best QB around but he knows how to win games and thats all that matters. Yeah Mizzou might be good but they sure havent played anybody yet. If they want to win they better play better than they did against Nevada or Bowling Green.

Why are some still talking about talent this far into the season. Sorry but it isnt about talent its about production. Talent means jack sh*t when the games are played. You have to produce to win the game. Helu(73-464-6.4-5TD) has produced more than Washington(68-301-4.4-2TD) so I dont care if the guy was 2nd team Big 12 last year, Means nothing now and to say that these are the best players Mizzou has had at certain positons doesnt mean much when you have really never been that good. Has everybody forgot that VTech is the 6th ranked team in the country right now so maybe Lee didnt play as bad as everyone thinks. Yeah his stats weren't that great but we still had a chance to win. Just sayin

KSU just lost to Louisiana Lafayette 17-15 on a late field goal....Ouch.....Missouri scored 14 points in the 4th to beat Bowling Green 27-20

The spread opened at 23.5 and got bet up to 24, which means people were beating that Nebraska would win by 24 or more and cover the spread. Now that the spread has dropped down to 21 it means that people started betting that Arkansas St would keep the game within 24 when the spread was at 24. The line moves up when more money is bet on the favorite and moves down when people bet the Dog. Pretty simple, bet the fav and the line increases, bet the dog and the line decreases

Who cares...we sucked in 07 and I personally dont think it made a difference....We had a defense that couldnt stop a 3rd grade girls team and our O-line wasnt very good either....All I know is its had to win any games when your QB is laying on his back and you give up 70 points...Lets face it no matter who the QB was it was a nightmare I would rather forget....Obviously they both had talent or they wouldnt have been playing college football at a D1 level....We have better coaches now and that alone can win you a few more games
