It's been a known fact for a while now of who carries the team and keeps us in games... Just sayin'...
-
I was thinking about this today. Let's say you're married, and your spouse never talks to you, doesn't share their life with you, doesn't do much around the house to help out and isn't in your corner when things go downhill.
How easy is it going to be for you to consistently support them, tell them you love them, and go out of your way for them? It would get difficult, you have to admit that.
That's what we're going through. We're not divorcing this team. It's just not always so easy to love them. They have to give us SOMETHING.
-
I say yes, although it was ugly how we did it on offense the defense definitely made it that much more special!
-
If our Offense was 1/14th as good as our D, we'd be top 5.
Amen to that.
-
I say stick with Green because they're both equally effective IMO.
-
Thank you! And trust me ALL of Husker Nation will savor this one! GBR!

I have no issues saying it over and over. The entire offense is struggling and having one QB or the other in doesn't make that much of a difference. When you have an O-line that can't consistently run or pass block, you're pretty sh#t out luck no matter what you do.
I second that.

Awesome stop D! Let's go offense help your D out and move the ball!
-
Hold em on 4th!
-
C'mon D hold em to at least a FG attempt, hopefully we can pick him off again!
-
I so wish they'd do this! I want us to play OU every year again.
-
The D has been excellent to this point. Incredible. Man I love them Blackshirts! Woo!
-
Our offense HAS to get better but this has been very impressive from the D thus far.
-
Our offense is soooo bad it's unreal...
-
I never get sick of seeing Notre Dame losing, makes my day each and every time
-
I wish Watson lost his playbook never to be found and had to start a new one with more effective plays and not too many to learn for younger players.
-
Yeah man were just being realistic, if we were to beat OU that'd be a miracle. Our offense is terrible and their D is very good as is ours but their offense is light years ahead of ours.
-
A chance to equal our stride,
-
Awesome! GBR!

Yes we will make a bowl game this year.

Yes I believe it is predictable but that isn't the point, the point is that we don't execute the way we should. We should be able to tell the defense what we're doing and do it and not let them stop us. Like we used to. Bo understands this, and that is why he is so adamant that we EXECUTE. We have yet to do that on a consistent basis this year.
The myth of the 90's, defenses really had no clue wtf was about to hit them, that scheme was more multiple than anything Watson could draw up. That offense was a threat up the middle, to each sideline, and down the field with play action.
In Watson's defense, it took many years for the NU offense to get to where we were in the 90's. I doubt we ever even get close to that level on offense again.
I'm not just talking about the 90's I'm just talking about how our offense executed in the past before we changed our scheme. IMO it's all about executing and dominating your opponent. Just listen to Bo when he talks about it, he's very adamant about it and he's right. That's exactly what the offense is missing.

being a realist is linked to cancer :
It is? That's news to me. But then again everything nowadays causes cancer.

Poor kid is one of those hard luck\trouble staying healthy players. I wish he could stay healthy so his career can take off.
Me too, he's such a weapon and is very under utilized IMO.
Bo's Not-so-subtle jab at *us*
