  1. I hope we don't see anymore Wildcat this year. Granted its the only thing that worked most of the time. The WC is just the zone read with two qb's on the field. Seems like a disadvantage to me. We need a qb who can throw the ball and make decisions well enough to leave a wr out their instead of pretending we're gonna throw it to TM. Anyone who watched the CG when rex tried to throw it to TM down field knows what I'm talking about

  2. Green may be the guy. I dont know. All I can say is it is more than just our qb. You get the ball on the 10 and can't get 6 something is majorly wrong and it ain't just the qb. And by the way Lee's strength is the long ball..........MY A$$. He can't throw the ball long for nothing.

  3. IMO anyone who is critical of Pelini's temper don't have a high stress type job or they got time outs when they were little instead of a good spanking. You pry don't like it b/c you have a boss that is that way. Something is making you have LMS (little man syndrome). All I know is when you do have a high stress career with big projects everyone better be on the same page and if they're not you better get them with the program. The coaches are all adults and can take an a_ _ chewin, the players are D-1 athletes and can take one too. And FYI Osborne didn't do it but don't think for a second that his assistants didn't.

No sh!t, McBride woulda bodyslammed Bo in his hayday. How's about George Darlington, I went to a fooball camp there once, he was an a-hole. Craig Bohl was a prick too, (tho we all know how he turned out). Just cuz The Father Tom was never seen doin this kind of stuff doesnt mean the whole staff was a bunch of quiet souls that never yelled at anyone.

Thank God I am not the only one who thinks this.

I didn't mean to leave anyone out. I'm just glad that the rants of some aren't the views of all.

A lot of us think this, I think, and we say nothing because we know the "Good Old Days" of Husker Football under Osborne weren't all sunshine and daisies. They were tough, with tough coaches riding the players hard, demanding excellence.

I could not disagree more! The O-Line not giving protection is Zac Lee's Fault? The reciever's droping the ball Is Zac lee's Fault? The Play calling And not moving the ball down field is Zac lee's Fault? I will Admit Lee could run more, but to say He is the whole prolbme of the offense is insane. I still have not seen what Green has done that has Been So Impressive!! Granted he will good in the future but he is very very young, and has done nothing that Lee hasnt done

Uhhhh.....how about the fact that Zac runs the ball like a pu$$y. He can not make a play with his legs at all. Even Blaine (super big and slow) Gabbert can run a little or make a play when needed

  7. I think Niles should be sent to the scout team for a while too. At least until he pulls his head out. And I still don't know why he is returning punts....he cant catch a spiral....so you can't really expect him to catch a wobbling punt.

  8. Does it really matter who's playing QB when a receiver catches the ball and runs 40 or 50 yards then gets hit below the knee for Christ's sake and begins bobbling the ball until it hits the carpet and is recovered by the D? Does it really matter who's playing QB when the ball hits the receiver right in the hands then the receiver bobbles it and it's picked off by the defense? Does it really matter who's playing QB when the ball is handed off to the running back and the running back runs 5 or so yards then gets hit laying the ball on the carpet for the defense to recover?

I know everyone wants a spark, but there was very little I saw Saturday that a different QB would have/could have changed.

Exactly. Of all the things that went wrong, Lee was the least of them this game.

This. Not defending Lee, because I think he made some bad decisions Saturday. But he got a ball to Paul, who fumbled it. Lee's fault?

He got the ball to McNeill, who couldn't hold onto it. Lee's fault?

    Helu fumbled twice. Lee's fault?

DR fumbled within the ISU ten yard line. Lee's fault?

Let's get our heads aroud this.....on Saturday NU committed a season's worth of dumbshit moves in one game. Lee was not perfect but he did what was necessary to have NU win the game.

I most certainly blame the O staff for not having the offensive players ready. Fumbling the ball is the offensive version of a defender tackling poorly. Bo fixed that part, now Watson needs to get the offensive players focused and accountable or he needs to move on down the road and let Beck run the offense.

    Rant off.

    :boxosoap

My God people he did not get the fing ball to McNeil. That ball wasn't close enough to make a good play on it. He had to make a one handed catch.

  9. We need to get rid of all Callahan reminance on offense. Am I the only one who thinks that Lee should have taken his last snap against TT. CG is young and WILL make mistakes but also has the ability to make something positive happen.

  10. The line results from the fact that it's AT Mizzou, AT night, 70,000 gold-clad, mostly intoxicated screaming maniacs drowning out Lee's signals, causing illegal procedures, wrong plays, off-sides and a lopsided win for the Tigers. :)

Oh No...not 70,000 screaming fans...we get that many at our spring game

    Misery Sucks!

  11. How bout we lay off the coach. Maybe your forgetting how many times Q fumbled the ball last year and I think was on his way to doing again this year. It was just two weeks ago that the coaches made him carry a ball around 24/7 so obviously he had fumble issues in camp thus far.
