I, for one, look forward to a mistake riddled bowl performance. It's really entertaining when I can almost pinpoint the moments the team will have a penalty, fumble, interception or horrific special teams play. Gives me something else to do instead of shake my head in disgust. But hey, these kids will run through a wall for Bo but learning and playing fundamentally sound football is where they draw the line.
Thank god for you sir.
PLEASE forward your resume and qualifications to Eichorst.
Then maybe you can become a positve influence for this site and diminish the overwhelming amount of negativity.
I sometimes feel the only way to satisfy some posters would be 13-0 seasons with 13 shutouts, no penalties, mistakes or injuries.
333 sellouts speaks to something. When the fans stop coming, we then have a problem. Til then, voice your opinion, but support the players, staff and admin

Wow, I guess I got told. So as steve Martin once said "Exxxxxxcccussee me"

Bo could lose out and he's not going anywhere. Unless all you guys are writing letters to the University and signing your name at the bottom about your feelings aaannnddd you've got at least another 50,000 fans doing the same, then no one cares what you think.
Sincerely,
Another opinion that doesn't matter either.
Will also need several million dollars to pay Bo and Bill's contracts

The bigger question. Why not Kellogg with 7+ minutes left? We need two scores!!!
-
My take on this was emotional sentiment for, but people will vote as they please. Whatever works.
I can't see Crouch because people were constantly griping about him not sharing the football, quitting the team, etc. Surprised he has the early lead.
If people are going off accomplishments Frost should be getting more votes, going 24-2 with two bowl wins and a National Championship. But especially in 1996, a LOT of fans couldn't stand the guy.
Two questions concerning this post. I understand about te Crouch thing. Refused to sign poster when asked by team mate (Mike Stuntz). Bet he would pay me to sign it now. So question is, Why is he so revered?
Secon question, What did Scot Frost do to alienate so many people? I know this condition exists, but don't know why.

On the bright side we have a 6 week Bye.
Take Purdue off that list!!!
-
I also noticed, the band wore red and white
-
lest we forget, Devaney purchased black jersyes because they were "on sale", they might just as well been polka dot.
let's forget the color scheme nonsense and sport the school colors, an return to winning football championships!!!
-
Just puttin' out there, your thoughts, please
-
OK. laugh at this but, I noticed that there has not been a significant change in the band uniforms for decades.
They are soooo 1950s.
A progressive program, as we wish to be, really should address this burning issue.

I guess it's time I weigh in on this. This NEW (and I use the term loosely) uniform looks like a collaboration of Tim Burton and Mike Leech. Red and Black are the colors of Texas Tech. The Large N is reminisante of the jerseys of Wassamatta U in the old Bullwinkle cartoons. The Wicked Witch of the Wesr socks are hidieous. Finally Nebraska helmets are White with a Red N and facemasks.
PLEASE don't F#%& with tradition!!!

Tell me your thoughts on this subject

Are you boneheads satisfied now?
You have been crying for a b******* for months/years now.
Finally got one. Ain't to impressed with the results.
How 'bout we just leave well enough alone?

Whay has huskers.com stopped broadcasting games that are PPV?
I have been reduced to listening to the University radio station.
I understand these are students, but last night was nearly unbearable.
The girl providing color, must have been the long last sister of Raynond Babbitt, definitely

He's still a soph and has contributed, even if he's not a game changer. So it's not like he's a total flop of a recruit by any means, at least IMO. I'm disappointed he's not done better, but I'm also surprised Martinez has shined (shone?) so brightly. You can't really expect to hit the jackpot on 2 QB recruits from the same class.
That's a good way of looking at it. Makes sense to me!
Probably true. Even Jed only struck oil once
-
helu fumbled too - do you want him benched as well?
after being held up for thirty minutes with no forward progress, where was the whistle?
-
Season's over
I'm back
WIN WON WON

BO to USC?
Makes sense?
Really?
Really??
Bo is to LA as Bulls are to china shops
The only LA Bo would feel comfortable in, is Lower Alabama

Here's how I see it, when Brad McCoy went to the locker room.
He looked at the doctor in charge and said "He will not return tonight. There are millions of dollars at stake here, this young man has a long distinguished career in the NFL, standing on the sidelines in a baseball cap on backwards, golding up a sign with an 11 written on it."
Young Mr McCoy as well as Mr Tebow were outstanding college quarterbacks, altough I do not see either one breaking into a starting lineup as quarterback in the NFL.
I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Maybe an occasional "all red" pants and jersey is about as adventurous as I like.
I like the look of all RED i think that would be sweet once a while.
Don't count on that happening any time soon. There are still enough of us who remember the couple of times it was tried. We got our asses handed to us.
Seems as though I also remember attempting a stylized uniform (ala Denver Bronos) somewhere around the mid-ninties. It was a disaster. Those of you who speak of uniform change, should be taken behind the woodshed and given an old fashioned, traditional butt whippin'
And please do not ever again suggest black as an option!!!!
I was hashing this out with some friends while watching the game and discussing Arizonas helmet and crap it came up. One guy was dead set that this had happened, another called him an idiot, and I was amazed that I couldnt remember, since I was an obsessed young Husker fan during this time period.
For those of you who think you've thought of something new. Let me offer this:
We wore Red on Red for the 1986 Oklahoma game. Got beat 20-17.
2002 Home uni Check out the stipe on the britches. Sexy, huh?
WHAT A DEBACLE
2007 Colorado
Leave it alone. It's all been tried before.
