My wife and I are planning on making the trip from South Dakota to the game. We have a daughter that lives in Bellingham ( which is north of Seattle ) so we spends some time with her and see the game. Not sure if we will stay in Seattle or closer to Bellingham. I will keep an eye on this post to see what everyone is doing and maybe meet up with some of you all!

Even if the source was total bullsh#t I'd still believe it. Who the hell would want to jeapordize their chances of playing for the pros when 1.) they know they'll never make it there with this team and 2.) there's not even any pride anymore in playing for Nebraska. Pederson has done something so foul, so wicked, and so hurtful to this program that I don't see how anyone could not want to hurl him into the depths of South Dakota the first chance we get.
That man is the devil. I think he must have intended for this to happen, because no accident could have hurled our program into the muck so quickly.

Hey being that I live in South Dakota, that is uncalled for, we don't want him here!!!!!!!! It does get warm here but Hades it's not. By the way has anyone seen what Bohl is doing @ North Dakota State these days?

I would like to see more of MO and less of Hardy and Nunn, it seems like they have trouble catching the ball alot!

Here in Yankton there are a lot of Husker fans and yet we have our Husker haters, too. There are a lot of Michigan fans here which lately have been pretty quite. Also Erstad is from North Dakota and thanks for the info on watching the games in Sioux Falls, at times I am forced to go shopping with the wife so that info will come in handy. As far as pro football teams, the area is split between the Chiefs, Vikes, & Bears. The pro baseball teams are about the same Royals, Twins & Cubs. I was born and raised with Husker blood flowing through my veins in Genoa, NE and spent some time in the Air Force before settling in Yankton some 27 years ago.

What I saw last night was the No. 1 team in the nation come into Lincoln and dominate on the "O" line and "D" line side of the ball, which means wins. Our tackling was inept, I agree that the linebackers do need to get a wakeup call and if that means putting Dillard and Brandenburgh in over McKeoon & Ruud, do it. Keller looked pretty good, god I wished he had more time to throw, things might have been different. The team as a whole never did give up and did play their guts out but I think with USC's talent pool it just wasn't enough. Kudo's to USC and to the crowd at Memorials Stadium, I wished I could have been there to experience the atmosphere of the night. Callahan and the coaching staff do have some work to do but I feel that they will get it done and end up in the Big 12 Championship game. Hang in there guys it's not the end of the world getting bet by the Number 1 team in the nation, just ask Michigan & Minnesota who has beaten them!
Hey maybe USC took lessons from the Patriots and stole our signals!!!!

I gotta go with Drowning Pool on this one!

GREAT POST hoyamannn!!!!!!
-
Great Post,
I would take my mom to at least a game a year when she was alive and boy she really got into the game, it was great to see her yelling and cheering. I know it was a real highlight for her to walk those steps and see the "Sea of Red" and hear the "Tunnelwalk" music come over the sound system. She was a diehard Husker fan, in fact we put the Husker logo on her grave stone. I am sure she would agree with all of the "Unwritten Rules"

Not sure if anybody saw this but sounds like a bargin!!!!!
This is an actual e-bay auction, and It's really kind of funny.
Make sure to read the sellers opinion at the bottom.

The song I think you are thinking about is "The Nebraska Song" on "Six Days on the Road" by Sawyer Brown. I believe Brook & Mark Miller were good friends. Here is an article that I found.
-
I enjoyed watching Brook play football at Nebraska, he was what every kid should model himself after. My daughter ( who was 8 at the time ) & I went to see some former Huskers at a Casino in Sloan, IA after their Senior season, everyone was super. Brook was one of the players there & he took the time to interact with my daughter and posed for a picture with her, she still remembers to time to this day. Thanks Brook!!!
