I am really looking forward to Martinez vs Smith this weekend. Smith did a fantastic job of shutting down Scheelhaase during the 1st game of the season in the second half. Scheelhaase was running all over us until GP made a second half adjustment, yes a SECOND HALF adjustment, and Smith started spying on Scheelhaase and shut him down. I think thats what will happen this weekend, meaning Smith spying Martinez. Martinez is definitely a lot more talented than Scheelhaase. Looking forward to a good game!

Your defense played extremely well, Suh is the man!
Penalties really killed our drives......TOO MUCH HOLDING!!!!
I felt like we gave up in the 4th quarter on defense....
I was surprised on how well we limited your running game, I figured the rain favors the run and I was worried you guys would run all over us......this is a positive sign!
That game was awesome......minus the power outages, and having 20 lbs of extra weight from my clothes being drenched.
I want to think if it was good weather, we would of won. I think it would of benefited our passing game just enough. But your defense had a lot to do with it.
It is time to sit Washington and let Lawerence play.
Overall, I hope you guys who made it down had a good game. Post your thoughts of your experience too.

I believe NU and MU are pretty evenly matched from what Ive seen overall so far this season.
QB: Slight edge to MU, Gabbert is a baller, but has shown some inconsistency this year so far.
RB: push......Helu is a monster, but we have some depth at running back which helps
WR: MU........perry and alexander
OL: Slight edge to NU as of now, I think MU has a better OL, but the past three games they have not proved that
DL: NU, Suh is a man among boys
LB: MU, all I can say is Spoooooon
CB: no idea really, Ive been pretty impressed with ours so far..........which isnt hard after last year, right? haha
HC: i like pinkel, but I can not get the "pinkel factor" thought out of my head so slight edge to NU
Since it is at home........I give the win to the tigers. 34-25.
It is gonna be a pretty formidable environment, maybe not as tough as VT, but pretty damn good. Can I get someones opinion from the game in 07' on how loud and crazy the game was?
In 07 the place was wild. Walking into the stadium at night from the south side was amazing. The way Faurot Field sits down in a bowl is intimidating as hell. Being in bowl makes the place really loud. It's a cool sight.
Yeah, I was there on the 50 yd line about 8 rows up......it was the best game I have ever attended......

RB: Push?! Really? I agree with the rest of what you said. Sorry . . . I think Helu is head and shoulders above MU's backs. And yes, I have watched your games.
But yeah, the rest of this I agree with.
maybe I was a little homerish, but head and shoulders above our running backs??? Washington and Lawerence are a pretty damn good 1-2 punch. Ill give you that though, from what weve seen from both teams that I'll give the edge to NU....

in all honesty a Tiger win would work for me
How'd you feel about a 16-15 win.
honestly it'd work for me.......maybe not the national media and husker fans, but a W is a W and i'll take it

Ive been screening Huskerboard for a few years and decided it was about time I started posting. A little about my self.....I am currently a senior at Mizzou double majoring in Biology and Political Science. I am currently in the process of applying to Med School (the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever done). I am a huge tiger fan and always have been. I occasionally wear the black and gold tinted glasses but overall I am a pretty decent, unbiased poster who enjoys a good conversation about football, among other things.
So Tigerboard isn't for you then?
Welcome to Huskerboard!
well.....I used to post on there, but I actually changed my password to something I normally do not use. Well I can not remember it and it won't let me get it. I tried making a new name and every name I come up with is already supposedly "taken". So I said screw it........and the format really ticks me off.

Nevada (much like Illinois) was talked about during the pre-season.
Neither look good now.
I concur that this will open some more eyes across the nation.
Gabbert on display and he tosses a few more touchdown passes.
Mizzou 45-17.
Thanks for allowing us a little space in your world.
For the Mizzou fans here............

You seem like a decent guy, but doesn't Mizzou have their own message boards or is ours just that much more interesting? I'm really not being sarcastic, it's an honest question.
I post on there too..........but I figure since I am on here enough, I might as well post

isnt that the truth.
welcome. you'll probably catch crap from some people here, but I'm sure you expect that.
I take it you've gone through the process......What I want to know is, why so many damn essays? haha

I am no expert on NE tailgating, but when I was up there last year, the area around the train tracks was a pretty decent area to tailgate I thought. Decently priced and wide open.

Most interesting matchup of the weekend regarding the MU@NU game

I've seen Smith run down WR and RB from behind. Not saying he can catch TM, but he does have some deceptive speed. Hopefully he is near fully healed by Saturday.
