I wonder what everyone else thinks. We all know what our secondary can do but we will need more than a pass defense. I wanna see Pierre Allen Sr have a stand out game. Maybe Levante David or whoever else I want to see us shut down the run and let our db's do what they do. Im thinking 2 int and a fumble recovery on D.

For me it was last years game. Sitting (standing) in the student section, we were louder than we have been all year. I agree with the electricity in the air with that game. I have watched some great games NU/OU games in the past but not in person. That one will always will be the one I remember. I jumped around so much on the aluminum seats, I think I broke a bone in my foot. Seriously though my foot hurt for a couple months after that game. But it was worth every second. GO BIG RED till the end baby

The problem I have with that hit is him celebrating after while the play is still going on around him and the rest the team is still running around opening up lanes for Niles TD. Find someone else to hit.

My knee jerk reaction is that this game will be very similar to the game against Okie Lite. Mizzou can move the ball down the field although not quite as fast as the Pokes. Mizzou has no Blackmon or Hunter which really killed us.

 

The mistakes that were made on defense are fixable. Okie Lite came out firing and our defense had very little time adjust/ make calls. But I thought we did a better job in the 2nd half tryin to stop Okie Lite, still gave up some big plays.

 

I dont care what anybody says about Mizzou defense. I think they are overrated, yes they did a good job against Murray from what I saw. But up until the Oklahoma game, they hadnt played anybody with a legitimate offensive threat.

 

Like what was stated im previous posts, keep mizzou off balance. Honestly yesterday, before the snap I nevered had a clue what play we were gonna run, which is a good thing.

Sirles did play after he got injured.

What does it cost to validate a student ticket?

 

It's the difference of the face value of the student ticket ($23 I think) and the face value of a non student ticket ($55-65ish).

Yea, I thing I read somewhere the Texas game is 85 dollars so 60-65 dollars is about what you would expexct

Maybe someone can help me out with this. I have never purchased "unvalidated student tix" but have for the Texas game. Any members who are students, alumn, or have purchased tix like this that can help me out? Where, on game day do I validate these tix? How early before kickoff can this be done? Anyone have any problems with "unvalidated student tix" and getting them validated?

Go to the the ticket office. There are two ticket windows on the outside of the building. They will be able to validate your tickets for you. I think you can do it 3 or 4 hours before kickoff. I had student tickets the past two years but not this year but I never had a problem with getting them. If you want a good seat I would validate them as soon as you can and head directly for the gate. There will be a line.

Can I get a PM?

I use twitter. HuskerGameday looks to have good game time updates.

Article 1. Reviewable plays governed by a sideline, goal line or an end line include:

Passes

Article 2. Reviewable plays involving passes include:

a. A pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted anywhere in the field of play or an end zone.

b. A legal forward pass touched by an ineligible receiver.

c. A legal forward pass touched by a defensive player.

d. A fumble ruled on the part of a potential passer. (Note: If the on-field ruling is forward pass and the pass is incomplete, the play is not reviewable).

e. A forward pass or forward handing ruled when a runner is beyond the line of scrimmage.

f. A forward pass or forward handing ruled after a change of possession.

g. A pass ruled forward or backward when thrown from behind the line of scrimmage. (Exception: If the pass is ruled forward and is incomplete, the play is not reviewable).

Miscellaneous

Article 3. Miscellaneous reviewable plays include:

a. A runner judged to have been not down by rule. (Note: If a runner is ruled down, the play is not reviewable).

b. A runner’s forward progress with respect to a first down.

c. Touching of any type kick by any player.

d. The number of players participating by either team during a live ball.

e. A scrimmage kicker beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is kicked.

f. Clock adjustment when a ruling on the field is reversed.

g. A fumble recovery by a Team A player during fourth down or a try and before any change of possession.

Plays Not Reviewable

Article 4. No other plays or officiating decisions are reviewable.
