I'm saddened and sorry to see some posters I held in very high esteem choose, over the course of this, become hell bent on signing their own way out of here. Those wishes have, after review, largely been obliged. In a way I understand why they did that, too -- they're passionate, sticking up for their friends, and firmly believe they're fighting a just cause. Whether you agree with the decisions, or not, though, lashing out is not in the right. I'm optimistic that not many more will choose to join them.
Please provide a specific example in which Chaddy lashed out to deserve a ban. I'll be patiently waiting.
I don't buy your explanation. At all.

This whole situation is like a bunch of guys skating on a lake with a thin ice spot. Three guys fall in. Then three more jackasses skate right over to that very spot to see whether it actually is thin ice. JUST STAY THE HELL AWAY!! But if curiosity is getting the best of you and you want to piece together what happened, just have a look at page 9 of the Polo thread. Proceed with caution.
Being the ever helpful kind of guy that I am, I created a decision rule to help you avoid the thin ice that all the banned HBers seem to be skating into: LINK (link to the "The Village of the "Banned" thread in the Shed)
I see nothing interesting on page 9 of the Polo thread other than walks being his usual douche self and Moiraine being a grammar nazi again. Chaddy had the same info that I had and several others had. And he was right on both accounts.
You didn't think there was anything wrong with ShawnWatson's PM reply? I thought it was a bit over the line. Really, it was almost exactly the same as Michael Brown's response when the cop asked him to quit walking down the middle of the street: "f#*k off!" /continues walking down the middle of the street.
edit: I'm headed out right now to for the evening. So I'm not ignoring you if you reply.
I'm not talking about Watson. I'm talking about the rest of them minus Marf.

So from talks with some of the banned, this has to do with a thread about the word butthurt? No way! Gotta be worse than that right?
I think it's more related to an overly sensitive poster on here that got the ball rolling on all of this.

If you are not one of the members affected, you will not be receiving information or an explanation as to why members are banned. That goes for past, present, and future. More goes into discipline at HuskerBoard than what is simply posted for other users to see. That's all you're going to get from any moderator available.
I will be moving this thread to the Woodshed simply to keep this in line with the other discussions.
You could at least provide an explanation to those who were banned. I mean, it's pretty obvious why Marf got the banhammer today, but you guys ban people and don't even tell them why. That's pretty weak sauce.

Depends on how stuff he puts in his hair.Kenny has never looked 200 pounds to me.
If he used this stuff he'd fall over from being too top-heavy.

Can we have more discussion about the predatory lesbians? I'm interested in those and how I can get them to come over and visit with my wife.

Anyone know where a guy could find some decent lightweight backpacking/camping gear that won't break the bank? Doesn't have to be top-of-the-line stuff, decent and affordable is what I'm after.
Looking for tents, sleeping pads, stoves, cookware ect.
I guess shopping around would be the way to go, just wondering if anyone had any insight into where to start.
I buy most of my stuff off Campmor.com. Their prices are usually pretty reasonable.

I won't lie...my boat was ridiculously awesomely bad. It was so heavy and the suspension so terrible that you could just glide right over any speed bump or obstacle with no disturbance at all. Even if it was "sage green" and used up half of the US petroleum reserves I enjoyed having a car that I could treat like utter garbage (cuz that's what it was) with almost no consequences. It's probably living a second life as a demolition derby car right now.
Those big cars drive nice on gravel roads as well.
Just thought I'd add: Nothing says you've given up on your dreams like driving a Ford Tempo. Just the sight of that car makes me sad. I just want to hug the owner and tell them that everything is going to be okay.
Mayhaps An Explanation Be In Order?
