  1. if you are referring to me, i dont know what you mean by attitude! that is laying everything that i believe to be true out on the table. and the are because this thread has been started more than twice....just sayin.... I'll be sure to check the last 30 threads before I post something to make sure it hasn't been discussed just to make you happy. Sorry must have missed it, ya know with my job and all not having time to sit on here all day.
  2. Well, I guess I won't ask a simple question again. I wasn't criticizing the guy. I was just asking a hypothetical question to see if there would be some discussion about it instead of bitching at me. I guess I forgot about that heavy downpour he was facing against Va Tech. It's funny that Gabberts passes, were for the most part on target compared to Lee's and at least he could hit a 5 yard swing pass out of the backfield. You guys all talk about stuff to keep your mind occupied during the week, so thanks for dumping on me. You can't blame everything on rain and poor blocking, because from what I saw, he had time to throw. Some of you guys are A-holes.
  3. What do you do if you're the coaches and Lee is having another first half like he had against Mizzou? Do you ride it out and hope he comes up with another great quarter, or do we change our strategy and try running some read option or something like that with Green to expose their run D? I'm just wondering what you would do. I would assume Green has picked up a little bit more of our offense. Let's assume that we are down by about 10 points, a similar scenario to Mizzou.
  4. More disciplined yes, but faster? Not even close. Like I said in my post, they are in position, but when they get faked out of their shoes I see someone else taking it to the house against us and I just hope it doesn't cost us. Va Tech isn't the only team we'll play with athletes on special teams.
  5. Does anyone else think that we're going to get burned on punt or kick coverage one of these times at a critical point of the game? I look at who we have on our coverage units and it looks like 2000 all over again when it took a near loss to Notre Lame for Solich to put some athletes back on special teams. I see a lot of whiffs out there, particularly our first 2-3 guys down there covering punts. It seems like they are usually in decent position, but aren't athletic enough to bring the returner down. Any one else concerned about this?
  6. 27 to 5 looks better than 27 to 12
  7. Looks clear to me as day that the ball isn't at the goal line. The real question is... Is his knee really down. I think that is what prevented it from being overrulled. But anyway... Time for my first rabbit with a pancake.
  8. New poster and long time lurker here. Not much has been said(or at least I haven't seen it) about Mizzou's touchdown to end the first half. First off, I am pretty certain this wasn't a touchdown and snapped this shot from the game, which to me shows the ball just shy of the goal line. To me it shouldn't have come close to happening if Watson would have run it 3 straight times at Mizzou and forced Pinkle to use up his timeouts or at least run some more time off the clock. Some of his playcalling puzzled me to say the least.
