  1. You've got to be kidding me. Tressel's been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

    My head hurts.

I don't care what minor adjustment with the gunners the genius made it don't happen without DPE

Schematically there are some differences, but, I have to agree with you markiemark - it doesn't matter unless you have someone like DPE. There are plenty of good athletes out there that are NOT good punt or kick returners. It takes a feel, guts and good vision.

I think the most fair thing to say is that you can't really have one without the other. Though, I will admit that DPE takes off in some situations where last year we may have called a fair catch. Our mentality, previously, was too just 'catch the damn ball.'

You guys do remember in the first game this year that DPE was the 3rd guy to return punts right? Right after Kenny Bell bobbled his attempt they put in DPE. That pretty much tells you all you need to know. We had a frickin' superstar in waiting and he wasn't even their first choice to start the season.

The Sock don't want to say nothing bad about nobody but with the way the kids is talkin' it's probably good for us folks to know that they may have been led that way and be just angry and scared and frustrated. It ain't they's fault. Just support 'em and love em for bein' Huskers.

sock, what is going on with rick kaczenski? Did he really cause a huge stir in village inn?

What the h#ll is that about?

Kaz supposedly found out this morning while eating breakfast with his family and was furious. Something like f#*k this shithole.

    Really? Where'd you hear this?

  4. A Tressel / Frost / Braxton Miller combo would be an absolute coup. Oddly enough, it's a thought I get excited about. I'm an OSU grad but I love college football, traditions and competition. The NU program commands a lot of respect and it makes me happy to see the program strong.

I started at OSU in 2001 (JT's first year) and graduated in 2005. I've spent a fair amount of time in Lincoln traveling for business and I always look forward to visiting. I live in Madison, WI and there are lots of similarities between the two places. I absolutely love Madison but that's off topic.

JT would be a home run hire and it'd be great to see him coaching again. He certainly made some mistakes in Columbus but I genuinely believe he's a good person at the core. Nobody's perfect and it is difficult living under such scrutiny and visibility. OSU has their share of unreasonable and unrealistic fans and it can be easy for them to overshadow the majority of good ones. At times, Tressel coached teams could be frustratingly conservative but I always trusted him running the ship. He's enjoyed success his entire career from coaching to his recent experiences in academic administration.

I seriously doubt the OSU fans that bash Tressel could ever spend a day in his shoes. Nor do I believe these same people have ever achieved the types of success or touched the number of people he has throughout his career.

In 2001, four of us packed ourselves in a car and drove 30 hours to Tempe, AZ to watch the Buckeyes play an unbeatable Miami team. I'll always be thankful for the amazing memories of that trip and the unbelievable triple overtime win.

JT's a winner and I hope the NU faithful get the opportunity to see him lead your program.

Awesome post. Welcome to the jungle my man.

Thank you Walks......... I have been telling everyone this all friggin day !!!!!! Shawn Eichorst is nothing but a Pearlman puppet and just sign off on his job. Until Pearlman is gone, the entire football program is screwed...... this was what Suh was hinting at earlier in the day. Pearlman is a pu$$y, who was soooo jealous of Coach Osborne that he can't see straight.

Now with TO completely out of the way for a year now, he gets to flex his worthless piece of crap muscle....... Congrats SE, might want to start building your resume, cause unless you hit a home run (which means someone who apparently has to win more than anyone else in the country), you are going down with the next guy.

I 100% agree with Walks......pooch screwed....... and we are the pooch !!!!!!

We were already being screwed. Now the worst case is we get screwed by someone else.

And will have paid out over $7 million for the opportunity.

Oh yay you're back. I missed you so...

That's Polo's favorite restaurant. We cannot stand for this!

If the hotel is on the east side of Lincoln, then I would take it as gospel... Neighbor swears he was in HyVee yesterday at 70th & Pioneer.. I said, you are not confusing him with dude that looks like Joe Dimaggio that works the produce aisle- he said no. But could not understand why Coach Tressel would be shopping in the friendly aisle of HyVee..

he has a fuel saver card?

I consider 70th & Pioneer the outskirts of Lincoln. Hint, hint: It's Tressel.

Tresselmania gonna run wild in Lincoln, y'all.

Please don't screw with my emotions.
