Looking like 5 now. Don't think a couple will qualify
Who is in danger of not qualifying? Stewart?
Lockhart and Stewart are the two names I keep seeing but I'm not certain

2 more predictions on 247 today for DONU

Is the ESPN profile actually him? The school is different and the picture doesn't look like pictures on other sites.
No, looks like its a Kentucky commit from 2013

Recent Florida State decommit. His high school coach seems to think Nebraska or South Carolina are his main interests.
Same school as current Husker WR target DeSean Blair.
Same school as Husker commit DB Chris Jones as well

Down to Kentucky, Penn State, and Nebraska

Had an in-home visit with Nebraska coaches this morning.
Visit went well but he will be visiting Louisville on the 24th and also has an in-home with Petrino tomorrow.
Dad wants him to go to Louisville (distance factor) but Grandparents like DONU.

2 failed classes and 30 hours to complete by Summer. Clearly we blame the Husker coaches. Not the JUCO coaches that should have been on top of this.
Now that Callahan let the cat out if the bag you know the coaches were wavering
problem is, he was our best prospect. now our class is a joke. that is the coaches fault.
How about we wait a few years until we call this class "a joke"

Seriously guys, who gives a crap about 40 times?
If you think they're a good way to evaluate players, you need to go away and come back after you've educated yourself.
Well, I have never seen a WR run a 5.0 40, so the 40 time shows some threshold of a player's ability. If Chris Johnson runs a 4.6 instead of a 4.24, he doesn't get drafted and certainly doesn't run for 2000 yards in an NFL season. No, a 40 times doesn't matter by itself, but it shows a player's potential capabilities and how that can translate on to the football field. So who gives a crap about 40 times? Every NFL coach, scout, GM, owners, people who evaluate players for a living - exactly what we are doing here, evaluating a player.
Anquan Boldin ran a 4.80 40 yard dash......
Jerry Rice ran a 4.71 40 yard dash.... he turned out to be pretty decent.

Tolbert doesn't run a 4.87 lmao.
It was electronic timed at a SPARQ combine last summer. I suppose you flew down to Louisiana with your 40 electronic machine timer and recorded a different time? What did you clock him at?
We are not recruiting him for speed, he is going to be a possession type receiver. The 40 time at some combine is the most over-rated measurement imho. I will take his stats against some of Louisiana's top competition over some 40 time we ran back in the summer.
5 catches, 72 yards, 3 TD's vs. Belle Chasse
4 catches, 58 yards, 2 TD's vs John Curtis
3 catches, 82 yards, 1 TD vs Franklinton

CB Deion Hallmon, WR Desean Blair, RB Taurus Phillips, and WR/CB Glenn Irons taking officials on Jan 17th.
OT Kenyon Frison, RB Corey Avery, and OT Denzel Ward taking officials on Jan 24th.
Phillips rescheduled his visit for the 24th via Nebraska coaches request. I believe he will visit Villanova on the 17th.

VIDEO: 2015 Rivals100 DE Adam McLean talks top 5 w/ @rivalsmike including #Nebraska: ($) http://t.co/ohLRm3BtRS #Huskers
Anyone want to fill us in?
Top 5 consists of: Michigan State, Florida State, Penn State, Nebraska, and Auburn in no order.
For Nebraska:
- he likes the "Alumni base" of Marcus Newby, Jason Ankrah, and Coach JP
- his previous visit made it feel like "home" to him
- likes that we were the second school to offer him and keep in contact regularly
- Newby is pushing hard for him to come here

Brian Christopherson @HuskerExtraBC15m
#Husker QB commit Zack Darlington taking in the bowl practice along with his father Rick.
Would have been nice if they would have brought Cox and Ivey along as well.
Ivey was there

Says he is 100% committed to DONU and Fisher gave him some names to recruit while at the 5-Star Challenge. Says he took unofficials to TCU and Arkansas to appease his coach. No more trips planned at the moment and will attend BRW next week.
