I think you learn some things about your team in the first few weeks of the season, that you couldn't possibly learn from them in fall practice . We happened to open that first weekend under a new staff, with a pretty stout BYU team. I guarantee these coaches and players learned a lot. Difference is, with this staff, i expect them to diagnose the things they can do better, and implement a realistic plan to fix those things.
