Shhhhhhh. You guys hear that? It's the sound of crickets from all the "Cody Green is the best QB in the world" people. They are now waiting for Lee to struggle so they can start chanting "Taylor Martinez is the best QB in the world". Whomever the back up QB is at Nebraska is always the next coming of Frazier, Gill, Crouch, etc.

 

That said, Green has a long, LONG way to go before I'll be comfortable with him as the starting QB. Having another year in the system should do wonders and am not ready to write the guy off after 2 starts in his true freshman year.

I just want a QB that doesn't make me hold my breath and almost have an anxiety attack whenever the ball is thrown. I'll take anyone who can make a short accurate pass that isn't so telegraphed that a blind man can see it coming!

Couldn't agree with this more!! Granted he would be an excellent addition, but everything about this kid says "Look at me."

I don't see any of those games ever occuring. The Big XII is going to be dead and I don't see TO wanting to go back to any game that would be associated with it. Even if it means ending a series that has gone on for a century!

6) Worst Husker memory? Had tickets in West Stadiam 50 yard line, Row A...yes that is the very front row. And watched Rickey Williams end the home winning streak. He stood right in front of me and flexed the entire time. I think I got a contact high!!

7) Number of home games attended? Couple dozen

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Have a poster Johnny the Jet that is signed by him, Rich Glover, Jerry Tagge, Dave Rimington, and a bunch of former greats.

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) Anywhere, as long as there is no one in front of me.

11) Favorite all time player? Anyone who played on the DL through the 90's.
