Maybe i'm reading to much into This but does this point towards one of the freshmen transferring?

1. I learned that Martinez IS in fact growing as a qb... Showed great improvement

2. Our defense might have got it's swagger back

If you feel that way, go for it. But posts like "Cassidy sucks, the coaches are retarded, and our secondary is the worst ever" are way to common, and completely pointless. I prefer intelligent discussion, versus much of the garbage that's spewed on message boards. But since I'm stuck in $EC country, I don't have much choice. The logic behind my posts is for meaningful discussion, not rants from 15 year old emo kids.

 

To be honest, I don't put a lot of stock in the opinions of people who post like this, because most of them are just going with the flow, and have zero idea what they're talking about, or looking at. But it gets old seeing thread after thread of whining by idiots. Whether Husker fans realize it or not... the other team is trying to win too, and what happened in the mid 90's will never ever happen again. Yet, that's what we compare every team too.

Here is a perfect example of why I hate Texas. I was at a class last night for probation and the instructor comes in. She introduces herself then says she's from Texas, and that she is a Texas fan. Then she says "I will talk sh#t about Nebraska football, deal with it."

I'm not too worried a little bit sure but if we could get 9 wins with Watson it proves we could get by with mediocre offense but if Beck is what we hope he will be then we'll be elite again.

So the way I look at it even if he isn't great his first year we should still come up with 9 wins which I can live with

Are we gonna be starting as coordinators or as head coaches?

its just so random. I go for years not able to fill my recruiting class unless I take 5-10 or guys regardless of my finish or ranking. Then out of the blue i would have to pull offers because i filled a class of 25 and had to turn down a number of & kids. Some years its the 8th game of the year or longer before I get a commit and others I have 3 or 4 before the first game. Kids will have me as their #1 team and I would have low rankings in things most important to them (location or playing time) then others I have A's on every topic high, very high and most and the kid wont sniff me.

 

I even paid for the recruiting cord. option that tells you who to offer, who you should spend time talking too and who will verbal to you on a week to week basis. It just make me say sometimes.

 

What other upgrades changed from the '10'version?

On dynasty you can start off as a coordinator and work your way up and there is coaching carousel and the run blocking is way way better along with pass coverage.... and then being able to play the entire high school season in road to glory has got me pumped

Roster names for most of them, but i couldn't find a good roster for Shelton, Southwest, South Loup, or Bancroft. Feel free to download them username is huskerchuck, and i'd be interested in any that all of you have created

I went to Southwest and made a pretty accurate version for my senior year. Roster and all. Wish they had Teambuilder for everyone of EA's sports games.
