And Daniel briere scored a goal.

Hey walks, first time I've really watched stastny closely. I really like how game, glad the blues picked him up.

Why would you leave Missouri? The taxes are cheap, and the beer is 5% and above.
I moved out of missouri. this is one way I can keep up with things back home
I know the feeling. I still work midnights, but I have DVR to help with that.I'm looking forward to the day I can have a job, where I can get some of this sh#t, and be able to enjoy it...
Have you seen what is going on in St. Louis lately?

Just purchased gamecenter. Time for the season to begin.

pm your email homie
Just went to yahoo hockey and joined that way. I've always been intrigued by a keeper league, so count me in.
-
Check that, I'm back in this year. Hopefully with the move behind me, I'll be more settled. Bring on some puck
-
I didn't get the email either. When is the draft?
-
I think some teams need to be relocated, but expansion isn't the answer

Just keeps getting better. I'm in agreement with you all. I think they could eliminate a few teams and make the league better.

Looks like nhl to Las Vegas is a done deal.

What do you all think?

Why so walks? I thought this is great sign. Bringing stastny back home is a great thing for the blues. We need lots of offensive help.FOX Sports Live @FOXSportsLive 4m
BREAKING: The @StLouisBlues announce they've signed center Paul Stastny to a four-year deal.
I still haven't stopped throwing up

Drunk in the Lou. Last night as a Missourian.

5 would have been excessive. 3 feels a little too much for a first time offender.
I hope Backes gets back for you guys, but glad to see my Hawks win one.
I think 3 is good...
He left his feet and targeted the head...
He hit him before he left his feet, while falling. It doesn't matter though, the suspension has been enforced and he will be back before the next round.
his skates are coming off the ice when he makes contact, thing is he targeted Backes head...
He hit him in the head, he deserved a suspension. He was a first time offender, and I think 1 game would have gotten the message across.
Word out of St. Louis right now is that Backes will play tonight.
-
Seabrook should get at least 3 games, if not the rest of the series...
Good call on the 3 games. I was hoping for 5. Just to keep him out the rest of the series at least. Did anybody see the video clip that caught some of the on ice talk after the hit? I'll try and find it tonight.

My heart can't take these kinds of games much longer.

We were in that arena for almost 6 hours. If that was any indication, gonna be a fun playoff run this year. Almost all close games.
Yeah, both you guys and us are in for a war...
I don't know the east very well, but the west is so deep. There are about 4 or 5 teams at minimum that could make the finals and nobody will be surprised.

Just home from the blues game. No voice left.
Shaping up to be quite the playoffs and we are just 2 days in.
-
Really nervous about the blues in this series. Just saying. I'll be there for game 1. Excited, but nervous.
I think Boston comes out of the east. I think several teams could come out of the west and none of them be a shock.

Didn't realize until looking through box scores from the games how many former Cardinals the Angels have. Is there some sort of connection there or not?
Not really, just trying to find a winning formula I think. I know one of their minor league coaches has tried to replicate the cardinals way of teaching young players. The reds have a ton of former cards as well. Of course I'm sure that jocketty has something to do with that on.
-
It was a good opener for the cardinals. Defense was sloppy, but pitching over came it. I love pitching duels and today was a good one. I'm so happy baseball is back.
Agreed. I finally have something to keep me interested all night. I am going to wear the MLB Network out.
That makes 2 of us. Watching it right now actually.

From what I can tell, the city is buzzing with the news of the trade. Can't wait to watch this guy play. I guess I just lucked out having the guy on my fantasy team to begin with.
