  1. The blues have never been 4-0 ever. As a blues fan base, we are pretty skeptical. Although right now, the blues are playing pretty well.

If they keep it together, they're going to be a pain in the ass to everyone in the western conference, especially my Av's...

Your av's are playing pretty well right now. How is roy doing? Still going crazy?

  2. True, but Philly has some talent. Just let the guys go play. I dislike philly just about as much as any team out there, so I'm ok w/the downward slide.

they do, but the flyers, and flyers fans can eat a c*ck...

I had a feeling that sort of statement would come out eventually. They are an easy team and city to hate.

  3. That's a great website. Had quite the sports day, cards playoff game then blues night cap. Since this is hockey, I'll discuss blues.

They looked solid, had great moments, had bad moments. Their great moments obviously allow them to carry through the bad. They continue to score, they will be really good.

I thought Seth jones, looked shaky early, but settled in nicely. He showed great potential, should have a nice rookie season.

  4. Ok, obviously I am huge Cards fan. Can't help it living here in St. Louis. The Pirates are one of the few teams that scare me. I'm hoping they get shaky being in the playoffs for the first time in a long time, but I'm not convinced that will happen. If the birds can beat the bucs, I see them making the world series, very much like the 2011 team. Either way, I'll be at game one and maybe game two. I see the Cards beats the A's in the series.

  5. EA Sports predicts St. Louis Blues as 2014 Stanley Cup champions

EA Sports' simulation sees the Blues knocking off the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games to win the franchise's first ever Stanley Cup. NHL 14 producer Sean Ramjagsingh explains how the Blues came out on top.

"The St. Louis Blues are the personification of NHL 14," he says. "They're tough, fast and have one of the deepest lineups in the League, making them a favorite to finish on top this season."

It's tough to argue with that. They're deep in goal, they've got plenty of great players on defense, and they can score a little bit. They're heavy favorites to make the playoffs and have solid odds to win the Stanley Cup already.

I agree that the blues are a solid team, not so sure they will hoist the cup this season. Seeing how they have never win a cup, I just can't bring myself to believe it will happen.

On another note, I just scored a pair of tickets to the home opener one week from today. Very much looking forward to the game.

I think your season hangs on the shoulders of Halak. He's been pretty good past couple of years, and if he can keep it up, I think St Louis can definitely give Chicago all it can handle...

I believe this is a contract year for him. He stayed here in St. Louis over the summer to work on his game, so I'm hopeful. If he plays up to his capabilities I agree we can play w/and beat Chicago.

  7. Not that I don't like some good ugly jersey talk, but its just about camp time. Most of the blues players are having open practices. Hoping to make it to one, I hear players are very willing with time and just talking.

Just found out tonight that Brett Hull will be joining the front office. Im sure he will make the season more interesting. Yes, its on the business side, we've all seen his hockey knowledge isnt the best. Anyways, I'm pumped for both hockey and football season at the same time.
