In the process of moving out to Charleston. I'd love to do my part in cheering on the huskers. Cant wait for this tournament.

As a Blues fan, the divisions are pretty solid. Everything is right in the central time zones. I will miss playing Detroit so much, but the Blue Jacket games were always snoozers. I'm ready for the season to begin again.

Technically the first Blues game is 67 days away. Today they reupped w/anheuser busch, not officially hockey news but certainly makes my game experience better.

We've season passes to Disney and take our boys usually once a month. Almost every time, we see some Huskers fans and end up chatting for a few.

I'll be at Disney in the middle of November. May see you there.

More than you know. I heard at one point that there was more meth in Missouri than the rest of either the us or world combined. I personally know lots of users. The hotel I work at, we deal w/them on a weekly basis. I have all sorts of good stories, a big joke here as it is everywhere, we just live in it.

I live in se Missouri. It's home, and close to St. Louis, so I'm ok w/it. Don't really get too much grief about Nebraska except from friends, but they backed me up when I got into an altercation w/a mizzou football player, but that's a whole other story.

But the story about Epcot reminded me about a time a few weeks ago, I was in a Chinese buffet and a guy saw my husker t shirt and started heckling me from across the restaurant. He told me that the reason that Nebraska was so terrible was that mizzou was so dominant now. I asked him on this so called dominance and he responded w/how they have more championships. I laughed and continued to eat my delicious Chinese.

I just payed 3.29 yesterday. Here in Missouri.

Well, my playoff boycott lasted roughly 24 hours. What a great night, I stopped watching the bruin game. What happened? I thought it was lights out. Nothing like the playoffs.

Welp, blues season has ended. Therefore, I am pissed at the hockey world for awhile. I don't know how much hockey I will watch the rest of the playoffs. With the kings ending the season two years in a row, has really upset me. I could go on with my rant, but I will just step off of my soapbox and go drink a few stag beers.

They still make that? Haven't seen one in years.

Of course, it's very popular here in SE Missouri. Even went to a funeral this past week where stag was passed around the family afterwards.

I love the game, hell, I'm playing nhl 12 on the ps3 now, but I can't stand LA right now. Give me a couple days, and ill be back talking pucks. Have to reevaluate who I'm pulling for now. Anybody but Chicago for now.

I would say you could be correct, if it were a team other than the wings. Shanahan has a soft spot for that team, so who knows what he will do. I'd say a couple games only because of the team that he plays for.

How are the games going tonight? I'm looking at scores, but that doesn't really paint a great picture. Kinda excited the islanders won.

Eric Gryba destroyed Lars Eller last night. A good amount of blood.

Thing is Gryba didn't leave his feet... Also, Eller had his head down, and thats one thing you're always told is to keep your head up. Only reason he'd get a game or two is because he turned Eller's face into a used tampon...

Eller was left out to dry by that pass. No, it wasn't a dirty play. Yes, he will get suspended. I'm thinking a couple games. Should be no more than two.

I didn't get to watch any games tonight, just saw scores. How were the games?

Well, just home from the stl/la game. This was an amazing game. Lots of hitting. I think this series will take lots out of both teams. I thought I saw there were almost 80 hits in the game. But what a giveaway by quick. Happened in the end I was sitting, and saw the whole debacle. What a fun game to watch. Blues deserved to win, but la never was out of it. Still can't get over the ending.

 

I didn't catch much of the game, just highlights, but WT actual F was Quick doing? Mind boggling.

If you like a physical style of hockey, this is the series to watch. There won't be many goals scored, but hitting a plenty.

My work schedule is brutal this week as I'm working evenings, so i'm watching espn.com for score alerts.

I follow the western conference almost exclusively and can't tell you much about the eastern except that Pittsburgh is pretty solid. As for the west:

Chicago is the best team, but not completely unbeatable as the media wants you to believe. I think the west goes through them, but it will be a challenge. I believe all the higher seeds win easily except the 4/5 series. I think la/stl will be a great series if stl wins game 1. If they lose, it very well may be over in 4.

Having said that, I am a blues fan and will be just behind the glass for game 1. Hoping payback is in order for the kings. The worst thing about going to a playoff game is missing the other games. The Stanley Cup Playoffs r awesome tv.

and of course they get in the playoffs at the expense of one of my teams, the Av's...

Well, looks like we're in. The loss for the Av's may help them secure a 1st pick in the draft. Positive for both sides.

Well, here's hoping the Blues make the playoffs. Just scored a couple tickets in the lower bowl for game 1 of the first round. Personally, I'd like to see Vancouver come in. Be a great first round for St. Louis.
