On campus. Heard taking summer classes and working out. Marrow starts class 6/6 and ready for summer workouts. This courtesy of RSS.

There are some Big 10 games that naturally are going to carry more weight than others. Wisconsin fits that mold. Due to the program similarities, ties to each other, recent program success, and current expectations, the Huskers and Badgers will be a knock down drag out...... Year in and year out. Personally, I can't wait.

I live in Iowa and share the OP's frustration with the Hawkeye fan "jackassery" but hate to admit that the article is pretty spot on.

I live in Iowa and it will quickly become an intense rivalry. There is a sincere and (quite frankly) unfounded hatred for Nebraska here. I've been around Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and Colorado fans and usually there is a hatred based on respect , but not here. Iowa is a far superior program and Ferentz is a hall of fame coach. We just can't compare in any way. Just ask any Hawkeye fan......

I recently converted to a Lions fan, but will have to get a Skins Jersey too...

Garbage article. Good luck Prince!!

Wish I was as confident as they all were. I'm optimistic, but until I see a healthy, pocket-aware, and fumble-free Martinez, I will remain somewhat skeptical...

I suppose Marrow gets his scholarship....

Best of luck young man. curious, does this open up a schollie?

Carnes did play against the 2nd and 3rd string a lot. He did look good though. If Tmart is injured, we'll find out soon enough if Brion is the real deal....

Nice to see Taylor getting more comfortable with the press. If the O-line develops like he says it is, this could be a pretty special year.

My major problem with most Husker fans is that they still think it is the mid to late 90s. They act like they are the best football team around, when in actuality the team hasn't been any more nationally relevant recently than most other teams. If you talk to a Michigan fan the past couple of years, they don't act like they are god's gift to football and that they are going to walk all over you and win the game simply because they are Michigan. They realize and understand where their team is right now and that they will have to actually play the game and it won't just be handed to them because of who they are.
Given recent history, there is no way that Nebraska fans should think that the game with Iowa will be anything other than a down in the trenches slug fest that won't be decided until the 4th quarter - but the attitude is, well we are Nebraska and you are Iowa so we are just better and you should just bow to our superiority and accept your place as our doormat. News flash - this isn't the 90s and it is that smug attitude that pisses us off.
I can sympathise with those Nebraska fans living in Iowa because I am sure that after all of the smugness and superiority coming from Nebraska during their amazing run in the 90s that things were a little rough - but to continue to think that just because you are Nebraska you are better than everyone else without proving it on the field doesn't help.
If we only look at recent history and use that to attempt to foresee how the Nebraska-Iowa game will go this season, the only reasonable prediction is that Iowa will have to forfeit. All of the players will be in the hospital.
Or jail.....

Easy Knap.. Rational thoughts and reason will get you nowhere with a Hawk fan.....

Ok ok let's focus on the most important thing here, which is our OVERALL record. Although I too would like to beat Iowa, let's not sight of what aim of our program should be this year, which is a B1G title.
We aren't CU where the success of our season is defined by one game.
I know, I know . On wasn't serious about the 1-12 comment. But I meant every word about stomping the Hawks.....

New coordinator + easy playbook = more optimism and more fans. Simple math.

We all know Rex is a stud. This can't be too bad as the "unknowns" need reps and recognition. We hope the 3 frosh will live up to the hype, but until then, all backups need the practice.

Born and raised in Omaha. Lived in Des Moines the last 13 years. I just secured 2 tickets to the Nu/Ia game . I know this years schedule will be a challenge, but after hearing nothing but smack talk for the last decade, I don't care if we go 1-12 as long as we curb stomp the Squakeyes!

It's all cyclical. B12 was the stronger conference for a while but B10 was stronger at times. B10 has less doormats IMO. Never fails that Indiana or northwestern beats the conference "power" year in and year out.
Either way, stability is what it is all about. I'm grateful to say I welcome all challenges that the future brings.

Valid points. But I can think of maybe 3 in history worthy of the "forever" honor. Rogers, Rimington and Tommie. Lots of stars but a select few "suns". 60-3 or whatever his record was speaks volumes. Again, just my opinion.

Just glad to hear Braylon made it and is staying in shape. I think he will have the biggest impact of the 3, again, assuming he's in football shape.
