Remember him well. I went to the the same high school, the Polk Cubs back then. So shocking and sad. He was a great person and Husker. Prayers to the Ziegelbein family.

1. Tom and Bo leading the team out together.
2. Bell's hit in the BIG champ game.
3. Come back win vs. Spartans.

When Bo didn't realize right away that Ameer just returned a 100 yard kick off. His values that he is trying to instill onto the football program.

Just love the coaching Cotton does.

Shocking. Just have no words.

Well CRAP!! Dish dropped Big Ten as of Sept. 15th. Thought there was a long term agreement finally made.
-
Is the guy with the questions a media guy? I swear I've seen him before. You can see him at the 2:00 mark.
I thought that too. The guy looks familiar.

Hasn't gone dark yet. The crawler along the bottom still says Dish will drop BTN on Sept. 8, but Im still getting the replay of the Boise-MSU game. Maybe they finalized something or the night shift forgot to pull the plug...
I still have it also as of 12:15 a.m. Wonder if Dishes's day starts though with the live stuff in the morning?

I think the jerseys are awesome, love the stripes.
I like the practice jerseys, or the older style with the strips in the shoulder pads, nubers on side, with grey face masks.

Opps! Sorry Mods. Didn't realize this topic was being discussed on The Big Ten forum. Please delete if wished. Thanks.

Years ago when I lived in Lincoln, I would drive around Memorial Stadium one time the night before a game.

Nice physical run. This kid reminds me a little of Scott Frost.
Nice TD pass.
Thought that also. Looks like Frost out there.

meh
I'd rather watch this:
Man the D was fierce back then.

Barney won't be going anywhere before the season and it's not a guarentee he'll be gone after it's over. But if the line continues to struggle and Bo wants Tyler Moore back on the team then Barney can't be around.
Tim Beck is gaining confidence with his playing calling and is going to be opening up a lot more this season. Obviously after a year Beck will have more confidence in Taylor to do more things with this offense, and Taylor will be improved as well to do more things in this offense. One of the things slowing Beck down last year was not getting into rythm to start the game, but when he was able to run what he really wanted, see second half Ohio St., Washington, his offense took off. Last year they didn't feel like they had a capable backup so Taylor had to stay in no matter what the situation. Bo and Beck have no confidence in Brion from a knowledge standpoint, they think he's a great athlete but still can't grasp the playbook which will keep him from seeing the field.
This year will be different, Tommy Armstrong has come in ready to go, along with Ron Kellog looking great, according to most he truly looks like the most complete QB right now just through drills and running scrimmages, his passes have been on target all over the place and he really throws a great ball. This year Beck will allow Taylor to go more and use his feet because he's not as worried with Taylor coming out of the game as was last season with Armstrong and Kellogg their to take the reigns if Taylor went down.
Jamal is showing to be much more consistent on day to day than he was last year which is a good sign, he should see great playing time, and the coaches love his athleticism. He's off the charts talent-wise. Jordan Westerkamp has come in and impressed as well, he has great hands and is already an above-average route runner considering he only got here this summer and has truly learned almost everything in just over a month.
TE's are looking very good this year with Cotton and Reed, and Beck talked at length with Bill Belichick about how to utilize his tight ends much the same way the Pats did last year with Gronk and Hernandez, Beck may try to do some similar things to get them good looks.
LB's may be better than people will realize, Will Compton has taken huge steps from last season to improve his speed and just all around ability as LB, Whaley, Anderson, and Rose are also playing very well and could be studs by midseason at least. Throw in David Santos as well to find a lot of action.
DB's are looking good, Smith and Stafford have appeared to lock up the safety positions and look really good, Andrew Green has one side of the field locked down. Evans, Jackson, and Seisay are battling for the nickel spot and, the other corner should be Mitchell. Coaches love Mitchell's athletic ability, say he's freak, just small.
Also a rotation of Punt returners included Ameer, Turner, Jackson, and Brion Carnes

Went to Lincoln yesterday and it looks soooo much bigger in person. We didn't get inside but from the outside it seems to really make the north and south stadium less funky looking, basically the east expansion really ties the whole thing together.

Looks like his high school is ranked preseason #1 in the nation by Rivals High.

Michigan commit, Shane Morris, is a dousche. Johnny Stanton looked solid. Other than that, it was a pretty good episode. Here's a link to the elite 11 finals part 1: http://www.youtube.c...d&v=kmwYT0P5cys

With the cat fully out of the bag, Adidas releases official pics:
absolutely not. i would approve of these if they used white instead of black... mainly red with black as an accent just doesnt work at all. we are not texas tech. our colors are scarlet and cream. and then black. not scarlet, cream and black. look at the uniform timeline.... we are getting f---ed like a prom date here folks. this is not our identity. its a blemish on the timeline. go look if you don't believe me.
everyone is saying they used michigans as a template.... if thats what they were going to do, follow suit and use our main colors. red uni's, white "N" on the chest and white stripes.
since they incorporated black... i still maintain my argument for murdered out and matte helmets.
i can't tell if this pukey feeling is the hangover or these atrocious, lazily thrown together alternates.
it honestly looks like adidas hired some of the "graphic designers" in this thread.... and i mean that in the worst way possible. now i know why i was getting so irritated as horrible photoshop attempt after another started showing up in here.
i still back these...
All black are sick. Wonder what the ones looked like that T.O. turned down?

Reads defences well, only one year at QB, played saftey in which proves he can give a pretty good hit, pre-med major, like this recruit A LOT!!
-
Honestly, I wish they would just go to grass, I know it won't happen but that would be my preference.

Great photos!! Forgot how bad those white uni's were.
I liked the all white uni's...although looking back at em, they do kind of look like long underwear.
Long underwear lol.
