The Texas A&M lad is just a frustrated yell leader. There has always been an inordinate amount of crotch grabbing in College Station.
-
I was also at the game and had no problem with Aggie fans. It is true that every time we bitch about the refs oue offense doesn't score a touchdown.
-
Those other 2 games aren't very appealing.

Soft feelings? Nah!

With Friday to Saturday prep time for Texas there is no need to prepare for them before KSU.

Alabama. Gotta beat the best to be the best, etc., etc., etc.

Sorry bout that. Cat sunk claws in me and multiple posts ensued during fight.

Texas had same problem with Colt McCoy. Other QBs on team tranfer (Sneed etc,) and HS QBs don't want to come until your stud is a junior. There are worse problems though. Like NU's offense last year.

If it's straight home and home,$1mil won't come into play.

Does anyone the Big X rule for interconference transfers? Don't some conferences require 2 year sit out?
-
Leverage is the key for him. Saw Stepnoski play a lot and once he got into a defensive tackle's arm pit he had them. Hope to see Mike doing the same.

Honestly I think we'll be OK...it's tough, but we absorb these kinds of injuries every year, just like every team does. Caputo is poised to be one of our best centers in a while, and we could have suffered a worse blow (and could suffer one yet) than to lose his backup. He does have experience and could play in a lot of positions, but at least at both end spots, there are two different sets of players battling at the 2-deep (Sirles I think, and Hardrick on the left and Marcel/DJ on the right).
I have read people questioning Caputo's size and speculating that the Smith move was to see if he could unseat Caputo. Mute point now, but on the size issue, may I submit a pro center that did quite well at about Caputo's size.

A lad with good character and 4 stars. What's the problem?

That explains why I am getting BTN on 4 channels on Verizon FIOS. They now show the same show on all 4 channels. Can't wait for gamedays when they will feed 4 different games.

TexAgs football board needs to combine threads on the $20 million issue. Looks like some Nebraska boards a couple of months ago

Equal shares for all conference members looks more and more peaceful all the time.

Nick Saban must have turned them down!

Probably have to chop off his toes.

If this team goes tribal, I think we'll see Bo get medieval in a hurry.

Ok so the season is sneaking up on us, and I was looking at some stuff and I noticed something interesting. Follow me here...
Roy Helu Statistics:
2007- 209 yards
2008- 803 yards
2009- 1147 yards
Total- 2,159 yards
Which currently ranks him 22nd in Nebraska's record books for career rushing. Now lets say Roy rushes for 1,000 yards in 2010, that will give him 3,159 yards. Which would rank him 4th in career rushing yards behind Mike Rozier, Ahman Green, and Eric Crouch.
Granted we will have to see whether or not he can obtain that 1,000 yards this year, but that is some impressive company. I know a lot of people fell in love with Rex, but I still think Roy is our best option at RB this year and I hope he gets enough touches and stays healthy to put up at least 1,000 yards.
That's doubly impressive when you compare Roy's Olines to the Olines of the other guys...I think if you put Roy behind a vintage Husker line, you have a heisman favorite, if not a shoo-in
Good point. We may not appreciate what we have.

Is that Burkhead's school? I know we've had a few Plano recruits recently but there's a few HS's there and I think Burkhead is the only Plano kid to have made it here. Pity, sounds like we don't have much of an 'in' with the kid...
Burkhead went to Plano High School.

I was made aware of this man, an Iraq veteran, through friends on facebook. He is walking across America raising money for military families.
Look into it if you can help. On facebook, just search for Drum Hike.

23 seniors, 16 verbals. 7 more to go (could be 25 if underclassmmen leave) if all verbals remain firm.It is going to be interesting leading up to signing day.
