I always watch my Husker Games at the Birds Nest when I'm in Chi-town. I won't watch them anywhere else! They even have a Husker logo on the front of their home page. Everyone in the place usually has red on and they have really good food if you want to eat also and flat screen's all over the place. They play the Husker fight song over the loud speakers every time we score. Just get there a little early to secure a good seat.
I have been to Kirkwoods and Bird's nest but prefer the latter. Its a little smaller than Kirkwood but I like the crowd better. Its just a block north of Fullerton & Southport.

Hopefully he is half the football player A.C. Slater was for Bayside...
-
I still like his name. It would of been a fun line with Simi Kuli & Ndamakong Suh
-
The Gamecocks have a 5 foot 4 RB??
Talk about a player you cant see over the line of scrimmage!!
-
I was torn between him and rex but when he committed to South Carolina...it made the decision really easy

Zac is not even 6'2" in cleats, and might be 210 after lunch. He runs with his head so low you'd think he lost his dog. I hope this is a joke
At first I did think this was a joke but after reading further, I realized he was serious
-
I think Zac should propose a position change to the coaches. He should want to be a tight end. i dont understand why he wouldnt want to be. imagine the opportunities for him at te! run blocking, short routes, slip screens, heck - even get an old fashioned tight end triple option! Zac at tight end would then open up a third string qb spot for austin casidy. i hear he has a canon from people who watch pre-practice activities.
Zac would fall down 3 yards before contact. Call me crazy but I would guess that run blocking is something he probably isn't very interested in. just sayin

Boise's SOS for the past ten years:
2000 - 107
2001 - 98
2002 - 112
2003 - 103
2004 - 78
2005 - 98
2006 - 90
2007 - 113
2008 - 94
2009 - 96
You are fooling yourself if you think these weak schedules have no impact on Boise's success.
I'm glad somebody looked into this and posted it.
I don't hate on Boise but not all division 1 is created equal and this shows it

I dont care what you all think. Lee got screwed. He is our best option at having a great season and now because you all think Tmart is the next thing best to sliced bread he will get all the accolades. I personally think that Lee got a huge slap in the face and i am not happy about it. I know 95% of you think otherwise but its a buncha crap. If i was Lee i would have flipped the coaches off when they asked him to go in. He IS a leader. He can throw the ball better than any other qb. I do not have a problem with Tmart playing. He can have an impact on this team. But against teams like washington, texas, Mizzou, and oklahoma he will not have the success he had tonight against an 0-21 team. The state of nebraska looks at Tmart as the next coming of the greates heisman candidate ever and he is not. I personally wish him the best success but its not going to happen. We WILL LOSE 3 games this year. Mark my words
Its not possible to do a "-1" is it?

Aaron Green Post Game Interview

You can have Malcom 'Horns
Well there is nothing really left except for Aaron to commit to the Big Red
Thanks Malcolm!!!

Wow!! I didnt know Brett Favre was at Memorial Stadium!!! I guess he was pretty awed by the whole thing as well, snapping photos and such.
-
I was 1, so not many memories of the game
But sounds like I'd rather not have memories of it
-
Well i know Josh Mitchell got in some trouble this summer...but I don't know if that would affect him cause it happened with Lazarri Middleton, and he's on the roster?
edit: didn't see middleton on that list. Must have been the summer trouble
I didnt hear about this trouble....any details?
-
We need to get those huge cardboard cutouts of player heads and make one of these for the student section
This is a brilliant idea. Too bad I'm at the opposite side of the stadium from the students.
The updated "Fan Day" Camstache (still not bad, but lost a little bit of its epicness)

Cyrus will visit in September for one of the early games in the season!!! He says that he has heard so many great things about Nebraska and that he wants to see for himself what all the fuss is about. Nebraska will be one of three definite visits he plans to take. The other two schools are Washington and UCLA. It is very likely that he will commit somewhere after taking all three.
Don't hold your breath yet...he isn't officially visiting UCLA until after the season.
GBR!
Thanks for the update huskernation.
He's a kind of player than make a good class jump up to a great class.
I think you should update your most wanted list to include him...like a "Top 5"! I really want for NU to land this guy and my gut tells me that he will be
I am really confident we will get this kid.....
Unfortunately I said the same thing about OWA
Why the confidence? Just curious. I give us about a 1 in 5 chance of landing him.
Why the pessimism?
Because Nebraska hasn't done well getting kids that are interested in UCLA. Because it sounds like he is very interested in Pac 10 schools . . . which makes Nebraska look like the odd man out. Because California is closer to home than Nebraska. Etc.
I hope I'm wrong but my uneducated guess is that he goes Pac 10. Love to see him N though.
Edit: also, I'm very skeptical of the Rivals/Scout articles that are written to peddle hope to fanbases of different schools. I'm sure Rivals has a different article about Hobbi for each of his favorite schools. It's amazing how picking and choosing specific quotes can make a recruit look like a lock for multiple schools.
You are absolutely right that they do this. Just like the aTm article that "Jamal Turner was visiting aTm" when really he is visiting to see Nebraska, not to check out aTm

No inside knowledge or anything, just a gut feeling, I guess
I could easily be very wrong (which I hope I'm not)

The Camstache is no longer so glorious. It's still there, but it's massively trimmed.
I don't think you understand how much this news saddens me

Huskers vs. Nighthawks
in Husker Football

Well if Zac Lee was TE on the Huskers, they would win.
The key is definitly which team Zac Lee is playing TE for
