The shirt is not that hard to understand

OK so read new rivals article and of course it talked about the b10s lack of recruiting in Texas, but it also mentioned that Florida was a major pipeline 4 the conference. They talked about how the years go by Nebraska might have more difficulty recruiting in Texas but still will a stronger foundation then most b10 schools. This article did get me thinking though on our more heavy push Florida talent, and although this is mostly to our sudden resurgence as a national competitor, maybe the fact that we r joining the big 10 we could get stronger footing in Florida (which IV always dreamed of). Anyways I got to thinking which state would we rather have stronger ties to: the super speed and raw athleticism of Florida or the the ultimate football spartanized players molded by the football obsessed Texas? We still would carry recruiting ties with which ever other state, but I wad just wondering which place would b better to put stronger emphasis into? If we get to the level of being contenders of which ever states elite prospects, which one would b better for us to pursue more?
You wrote this things from your phone?!? This would of taken me 26 years....damn you blackberry storm!!!

this is what gameday will look like. computer generated a couple of years ago
A beautiful sight, indeed.
+1
that is amazing and gonna happen

David Ross, he couldve been a pure lockdown corner for us when Pelini and Sanders got here. Just look at what they have done with Prince and Alphonzo.
I could be wrong, but didn't Ross not get here because he didn't qualify, not due to defection?
He dropped us for Oregon State
Off topic but im digging the new most wanted..

Thats pretty funny

New article about him on Huskermax. He idolizes and looks up to Joey Ganz. I miss that dude. Had a little bit of a man-crush on him that season. No homo of course.
here is the link to said article from the Omaha World Herald

why does scout always make things sound bad?..new article,,"Solid?"
Scout is a joke...both recruiting services are kind of a joke, but Rivals is the far better of the 2.

LOL... I just checked ESPN's On the Trail news updates thing for NU and they have his name listed as "Curtric Evans."
I believe that's his given name. I'm not so sure you should be commenting on the spelling of someone's name dudeguyY. Just jokin with ya man!
Thats funny

New rivals teaser about early offers and favorites
Anything anyone can divulge?
He says he's high on Stanford, Nebraska, Clemson and Oregon State...but no real favorites yet. He also says he's not sure if he will follow his brother...I bet he does though.
ah, thanks for the info

Yeah this kid is going to the U. I don't see us landing him at all.
Yea definitely hard to see us landing him.

Scout awarded Jalen a 5th star but his position ranking stayed the same @ #5.
Get him N! Get him N! He's been #2 on my wishlist after Green throughout this whole process! I want him NNNN!!!
He is numero dos on my list also. I have a feeling he is number 2 on a lot of peoples list.
-
Niles is also on the list
EDIT: Everyone beat me to it
-
The easiest way to explain the rankings is...
USC/Texas/Florida/Alabama etc Commit > Nebraska Commit
-
With a shot at Wayne Lyons we might just put all of our eggs in his basket and hope for the best.
I tend to agree with you on this...with who we have already and that fact we have 3 DBs already committed (counting Davie)...if we strike out on Lyons, we will still be ok
-
Wonder if he was a Nebraska fan before he got offered.
Yes, he was. His Dad loves Nebraska and he said in a video a while back that if there was one school he'd really like to get an offer from, Nebraska is it...then he also mentioned OU and Texas.
I absolutely love seeing a kid commit to Nebraska after seeing that he mentioned Texas
-
I have nothing with much substance to add except....
I hate Lane Kiffin (and all the talk in this thread reconfirmed this decision)
-
Top 5:
Oklahoma State
TCU
Notre Dame
SMU
Texas Tech
Nebraska still has a chance to gain ground though. I think ultimately he will stick closer to home because he has stated that numerous times.
Well....
Fortunately....not the end of the world
-
from what the post states, yes. Texas not talking to Green mixed with Nebraska staying on top of him would seem to indicate good things.. but don't take that like i'm guaranteeing it or anything.
so you're guaranteeing it?
I'm pretty sure he was guaranteeing it

my subscription ran out..... but ive heard rumors about green pulling the trigger soon and i mean soon!!!!!!!!!!!
HI freeboard is hinting at a huge commit somewhat soon. Could be.....
If this happens, I'm taking the next week off work to celebrate.....

For what it's worth . . . it's not just blogger speculation. Brown and Green have discussed playing together.
It's great for the articles, and i'm sure it's been discussed between the two, but IMO this is nothing but forced media hype that they may play together. There's no real indication that they're a package deal, and it doesn't make much sense.
I still say in the end it's Brown to Bama and Green to NU
Media hype for sure. Brown to Texas and Green to Nebraska. If Brown goes to Bama it might hurt us more since Texas is wide open for a feature back. Since they play each other on ESPN in August, I am sure it has been discussed that the more hype this game has the better it will be for all parties involved.
Talman has a tease about speaking to A Green tonight. anyone care to summarize?????

Thanks for keeping track of totals.
I did alright on picking most of the winners...just not round/method of victory
