  1. Big12 vs BigEast Fiesta bowl is pretty much 95% guarantee.

    3. The champion of Conference USA, the Mid-American Conference, the Mountain West Conference, the Sun Belt Conference, or the Western Athletic Conference will earn an automatic berth in a BCS bowl game if either:

    * A. Such team is ranked in the top 12 of the final BCS Standings, or,

    * B. Such team is ranked in the top 16 of the final BCS Standings and its ranking in the final BCS Standings is higher than that of a champion of a conference that has an annual automatic berth in one of the BCS bowls.

    -----------------

I don't see how the Big East gets in there without a ranked team...

    Here's what I think:

NCG - Oregon vs. TCU, both undefeated

Orange - ACC champ vs. at large, no other ACC teams close to BCS bowl

Sugar - 1 loss Auburn vs. at large, LSU still high in the at large

Rose - Stanford vs. Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan State both still high in at large

Fiesta - Big 12 champ (hopefully us) vs. at large, no other Big 12 team high in at large

So that leaves Boise, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan State as high at large teams. In my perfect BCS bowl outcome it would be:

NCG - Oregon vs. TCU (should be an awesome game)

Orange - ACC champ (no idea who wins that) vs. LSU

    Sugar - Auburn vs. Boise

    Rose - Stanford vs. Wisconsin

Fiesta - Nebraska vs. Michigan State (they have a better shot at winning out than OSU)

Isn't there any scenario where the Big East is so bad that other teams bump them off?

No. Big East gets a spot no matter what. A Mid major only gets a AT LARGE spot if they meet those qualifications. They do not take the Big East's spot.

Also I see Boise possibly not making a BCS bowl in some of these scenarios. After one non-BCS team (TCU) in this example gets selected, these rules become meaningless. These roles only guaranteed the highest rated non-BCS team that meets these qualifications will make it.

  2. based on Adi's post at a close by time I thought it may be serious

At champions with the team ... Good bonding time

dont know what champions is but if they have go karts bo may have been serious, btw I bet Bo could drive the crap out of a go kart or at least intimate everyone else into pulling over

Champions fun center I think it is called. It is on cornhusker.

  3. Coming from the Top Gun camp it has been reported that Green is no longer interested in Texas since they stopped recruiting him and due to their focus on Brown. They say he will probably end up at Nebraska, but to look out for Florida State. EVERYONE thinks he will end up :bigredn: .

They are comparing Malcolm Brown to Cedric Benson.

They are comparing Aaron Green to Lache Seastrunk, but with more willingness to be coached.

No longer interested in Texas sounds awesome!

Sounds promising, but I refuse to get my hopes up.

  4. Not sure at all about the source, but:

    Aaron Green

Odds of Committing (to Tejas), Last Week to this Week: 45% to 60%

As Tipsy Gypsie reported earlier, our source is becoming more and more optimistic at the thought of Green joining Brown on the 40 acres.

First, don’t discount the effect that Nebraska’s move to the Big 10 has on the young man and his family. The Huskers will play zero games in the state of Texas after this season, and that’s weighed heavily on the minds of the Green family.

Green’s other favorite program, Texas, has a lot going for it. It’s a great school, a great program, and it’s a short one hour drive up the road from San Antonio. That’s huge.

Also, the Texas coaching staff has done a good job showing how Green would fit into an offense which would feature another great back in Malcolm Brown.

Kick returns, motioning out of the backfield, and reverses are just some of examples the Texas staff has evidently used with Green to illustrate how we’re going to get him touches. It doesn’t hurt that we used tape from two national championship games to show him.

Personally, I'd pick playing with my Brother and going away over having my parents at every game with my clean laundry...But my Brothers and I were very close.

I may be wrong but I think this piece was written the week before the article that quoted Green saying "I haven't talked to Texas in a long time."

    Not worried.

You are correct Sker, I read this on shaggy beaver and about fell out of my chair laughing at the arrogance.

I just love the hyped up new information that the coaches have been telling him that they want him and Brown and will get them both plenty of touches...and then he says that they coaches haven't talked to him in a month.

  5. Halo 3 is terrible... but I will take your money in Halo 2

    Gamers RPG 2 - 7th in FFA

    Gamers RPG 4 - 4v4 Champion

UNL Gaming tourny 2006 - FFA Champion / 4v4 Champion

    UNL Gaming Tourny 2007 - 2nd place 2v2

    Bricktop Bar Halo 3 Tournament 2008 - 1st place FFA - 1st place 4v4

Yeah... I wasted some time with that game...

Thats not true halo 3 is a great game

    No, its not.

The hit box is lagged so no matter how well you can aim, the game is designed to have the RNG overpower skill.

    Each map is fundamentally flawed

The BR is also powered by a RNG that will produce shots that stray from the path in which they would normally go

I could go on and on and on....

Halo 3 is a bad game, which is why it was so unsuccessful at MLG, especially compared to the success of Halo 2. Although if you play the game like some people do, and just enjoy running around and shooting things, having no interest in LAN, Tournaments or MLG entry I guess halo 3 is.... fun?

How well do you feel the Halo: Reach beta bridged these issues? Curious as to an experienced players thoughts.

I like Reach, I felt like I actually had to aim, unlike Halo 3.
