I think A&M fans need to learn how to take a win instead of coming on our board and telling us how to take a loss. Clearly they are not used to winning big games and are giddy with excitement, so they feel the need to let everyone know that they apparently beat us fair and square and lecture anyone who thinks differently. We get it, you won the game. Good job. NOW PLEASE GO AWAY.

You end your sentences with an unnecessary preposition...
Example: "Where's my coat at?"
Detassling was your first job.
Guilty as charged.

Huskerboard don't fail me now!

Yeah, kyler reed's foot was down. That was a first down
I'm kinda surprised that the refs missed that, they had two line judges looking right at his feet.

Why is he still returning kicks and punts?

How many times did he try to make a tackle by going for the "big hit" and just throwing his shoulder into the ball carrier? After the first time he tried that and failed miserably you think he would start wrapping guys up. But no, I saw him do it several more times, as well as just flat out missing some hits. I thought he was almost as disappointing as the receivers.

I guarantee you the majority of people in Kansas don't even know who Bo is suppose to be in that picture.
Jim Morrison?
Abe Lincoln.
EDIT - is it just me, or does the beard on Bo look like a turtleneck?
Don Knotts. Duh.

I'm no old guard by any means, but I don't ever remember seeing us rip off those kind of long runs as a % of our overall production. Not saying that our O isn't good, but to me, it seems like our O is dependent on long plays for its production.
And with that in mind, if a team limits our big plays, it limits our scores. Kind of like Bo's D, in designing an offense that he doesn't want to play against, he has designed the perfect blue print of a defense to counter our O.
I'm a few deep, but does this make sense to anyone else?
Me too.

Not to mention they have Monte Kiffin as their Defensive Coordinator. I agree that the defense should have performed a lot better than it did. Maybe the attitude towards the season has changed for USC since the NCAA sanctions?
Nah...their defense just sucked
I think the poor defense from USC had a lot to do with Hawaii running that Pistol Offense -- something that the USC defense has not been practicing against during their preseason.
Or the fact that they are severely undermanned and have not been allowed to tackle in practice

I find it interesting that someone is seeking advice about marriage proposals on an a sports message board. However, people that propose at games come off as being self-centered and arrogant to many fans. Why would anyone care that you're proposing? What makes you think we come to games to see that? I think it's also unfair to the girlfriend because you are putting her on the spot about a very important and intimate decision in front of thousands of fans.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, but I think the consensus so far is that it's a BAD idea. Sorry for being so harsh, but it's only because we care!

It concerns me a little that a true freshman is good enough to see playing time. I think our WR and QB play will be the biggest factor if we are BCS bound or not.

He goes to Kamehameha school? Whoa. Wonder if he ever met this dude.
Do you think they teach super saiyan capabilities to their students?
I wonder what happens if this kid comes to Nebraska and we flash posters of Frieza during the game...

I've been watching various Husker games through the 70's to 90's on Netflix, and I would describe the video and sound as mediocre.

With all this discussion about who's going to start, I think it's obvious that we just need to utilize a five quarterback system:
What if we use Taylor Martinez on first downs, Cody Green on second downs, Zac Lee on third downs, and Ron Kellogg III on fourth downs. (Latravis Washington can come in on any play he feels like participating in.)

Am i the only one who hopes they never do that this year? If there is even the slightest chance that that was the reason we lost to Iowa st, then i never want to see it again.
Yes, I'm certain that the tunnel walk was to blame for that loss.
Their arms were ruined after the arm in arm walk, how else do you explain the fumbles?
Arm in arm? Why would you want to emasculate the entire team right before kickoff? No white skirts with red stripes available? I don't want to dosie-do with a dude right before playing football.
Seriously, guys? Nobody else remembers the greatest and most vicious college football team of all time entering the field holding hands? Didn't seem to affect their ability to completely physically dominate everyone they played.
Like I said above, none of that stuff matters. It's all about how you perform. All it does is help you prepare mentally for the challenge ahead. Beyond that, it doesn't do much for you.
But if you try something different and end up losing a game that you're expected to win, you could end up looking stupid. You're right though, the players should do whatever gets them in the right mindset for the game.
-
Unfortunate that they did that for that game because, quite honestly, it was pretty electric to see the team walk out united like that compared to the usually running out.
It was anything but electric, I assure you.

Ask a heterosexual male.
I did and I said she's not pretty at all
Has anyone told you that your standards are too high?
