We just don't have it... we can't hit with runners in scoring, pitching staff can't hold anyone under 5 runs, dropped balls and unforced errors, etc.... This team really doesn't have anything.

6-3 isn't good enough. We need to go at least 7-2. We should sweep Northwestern and win the series against Iowa. Doing that would be 7-2 if we lose to KSU. Personally, 8-1 is what I'd expect.

It's a lack of talent. Pierce at best in an average D1 pitcher. Hander is entirely to inconsistent and unpredictable. I think we will see Bummer getting a chance soon. He has the stuff and may be the best true pitcher on the staff. I also think Howell is doing some good things and may be one midweek start away from seeing the weekend rotation if Pierce and Hander continue showing their inconsistencies.

Pierce is so inconsistent... 123 in top of 4th.

He also cost us 2 runs yesterday. His spot in the lineup is a huge hole..

Is Lubach's glove that much better then the other catchers? I mean for Pete's sake, Lubach is such a HUGE liability at the plate.... his bat is absolutely useless!!

Woot!!! my 3 run victory is looking better... still a ton of ball left to play.

We have Indiana and tOSU here... advantage us but we play Illinois and Purdue on the road... tough games... especially the Illinois series this coming weekend in what could be some very cold weather. As for winning the B1G, I think our arms are finally showing what we hoped they would, our bats are way down this year but we've improved as the spring has progressed. Lets hope that our non-conference schedule has toughened us enough to be both mentally and physically ready for conference play.
