#PSU QB McGloin said it's fun going on road and winning big. Goal Saturday is to "try to eliminate that crowd as quickly as possible."
Son... that's not something you want to tell Husker fans. We don't get quiet at our house. We get louder as the game goes on.
I hope they're up by 14 late in the second half now so we can really, really get loud. It'll make the comeback that much sweeter.
Mind blown

Bigger fish to fry imo

The age old question, who would win this epic battle if the 2 came face to face, I'm going with Michael Myers, in the end he'd over come Jason when he wouldn't be ready.

These responses don't shock me, disappointment, didn't see that coming.

People want it here it is, post any info ya got about the program and recruiting.
-
Well as someone who doesn't get the "inside info" I appreciate anyone is willing to come on here and give the board info, so Compton and anyone else that has info keep it coming.
-
Coaches are very high on Tommy Armstrong, almost to the point where they were with Bubba last year.
Is that right?
Probably not.
Oh I'm sorry didn't realize you know the coaches aren't high on Tommy Armstrong and he wasn't a big priority, I guess I just won't worry about posting news I hear for the board my bad.
Not to judge or anything, I think he just got a little annoyed at your continued "inside information" that you don't present any source for...
As someone who's been on this board for a long time I haven't seen people post there sources on here...(or post much inside info)

Location and lack of time invested in it.

This concept of people who want Bo fired are the same who wanted Osborne fired are false, Osborne won conference titles and got to BSC bowl games and recrutied elite talent.
How are they false? Have you actually read any of the posts in this topic? People are discussing Osborne's first years and comparing them to Pelini's. People wanted Osborne fired back then, before he'd done all of this that you've mentioned. What he did later is meaningless because we don't know what Pelini will do, and he's starting out on par with how Osborne started.
Osborne coached some pretty big time bowl games in his first 6 years...and you want to say Bo's only had 4 years then look at the first four.
Okay.
Osborne's first four seasons winning percentages
75%
75%
83%
69%
Pelini's first three seasons winning percentages
69%
71%
71%
2011: 7–2 3–2
I guess I'm not understanding the point you're trying to make. Their percentages are not far off, and Osborne didn't have to play in conference championships. Take those two games from Pelini and he has two 77% seasons. And I'll repeat what I said before, Pelini inherited a mess.
There was a lot of talent in that "mess"

Serioulsy I'm beyond TIRED of hearing the term "fair weather fan" who is anyone on this board to call anyone a "fair weather fan," what makes you so much better than any other fan on this board, we all have one common goal, we want to see Nebraska win championships, period, end of story. From conference titles to national titles, we all we want to win, at the end of the day we may all have completely different points of view but we're all on the same time. Who are people to come on here and say people who criticize the program aren't real fans or call them "fair weather fans." This term needs to stop because nobody on here is a "fair weather fan" just by the fact that you are on a Nebraska Message Board means you love this program and want to see it succeed, argue your views till the cows come home, but don't call anyone on here who loves this program a "fair weather fan."

Great coaches take accountability for everything that happens in their program and fixes what isn't working in all aspects...
-
You know I'm curious, this term has been bounced around all night, every board you can imagine, and I've gotta be Frank I completely hate it being used so often and I hate being called one, so would someone please care to tell me what qualifies one to be a "fair weather fan?"

While I do not agree with firing Pelini. Pelini had his team flat today and needs a kick in the pants. He needs to learn from his mistakes and do a much better job. Period. If I dont make my sales quota I may not get fired but I can tell you that I will have to answer questions as to why I was not a success for the month. Bo and his staff need to kick things in gear like recruiting, demanding discipline, getting his guys in the friggin weight room, etc..
For what you desire out of recruiting would require different staff...

I want Jeff Fisher......
I'd take CP...

Simply put Bo Pelini is the not the answer to Nebraska winning championships, period end of story. Bo was at LSU for a National Title he knows what kind of players it takes, and the effort going into to getting those players and he simply doesn't care. Nebraska and Bo isn't the fit everyone was hoping it to be, you can pump all the sunshine into Bo's "Process" that you want, but at the end of the day he hired a group of "yes men" that can't get the job done on a consistent basis to get this program to where it needs to be, apparently a lot of people on here have become o.k. with being an annual 9-3, 10-2 team year after year, afterall Osborne did it for years right? Well in those season he won big games, won conference titles, and played in BCS bowls, TO knew what it took to be a winner from recruiting to the field, Bo doesn't get it and he's too stuborn to change which makes me wonder if he ever will, recruiting the elite athletes that teams like Oklahoma, Alabama and LSU bring in everyone year is what it takes and Bo doesn't have the patience or willing to go after those players and become elite, I for one feel that Bo Pelini is not the answer for the Huskers, and also maybe there's a guy watching over the program that may also be realizing that as well. Hint: I mentioned him in this post...

Hearing good things, hopefully everything "goes well" this weekend
-
So he's like CFB's Marty Schottenheimer...anybody remember him? exactly...
I mean Stoops is coaching at OU and has won a MNC.
-
I think it's hard to argue against Bob Stoops with all his continued success year after year, I mean year after year it's BCS bowl games, yes he lost in many but he loses in BCS games not the Capital One Bowl, or the Holiday Bowl everyone single year.

I've met Phil Labonte from All that Remains....a metal band. He is a really down to earth, cool guy. I met the lead singer of the band Adelitas Way just recently....my g/f is a huge fan.
Big All That Remains fan.
