  1. Well all I can say for lil bro is great job in miami were taught to lay da wood sovi say the punter got lucky for that bullsh*** call but the coaching staff didn't even give him the chance too make it up too y'all husker fans but rather sit him out the whole game but it's cool he learned his lesson u know thats bo n the start husker football way

  2. I'm back people didnt want my negative posts during the season well its over now and just like i was saying before watson sucks t-mart cant play under pressure and we was going to be in trouble if all we did is run.All of our defeats came frm teams playing the run cause they know we cant throw. And we need to change that fast cause going into the big ten next year like that wil NOT WORK lokk at michigan robinson started out good until they stopped him or just knock him out the game.

  3. if people are worried about their draft stock, then we made a mistake in recruiting them.

u aint making any since buddy if your a senior or a junior that has nfl skills and your not getting the ball you wont be upset it doesnt have nothing to do with recruiting

What he's saying is that we need to recruit guys who put the team first, ahead of their draft stock. Obviously everyone wants to make it to the league, but the team should come first. That's my interpretation of what he's saying.

As far as your bro, everyone on the board here is rooting for good things for him ... and all the WRs, but most importantly that the team keeps winning. We have huge expectations as Nebraska fans. a 10-win season may be great here in Iowa where I live, but not in the motherland. Go Big Red

never said the team shouldnt come first or didnt like da fact that we are winning im just saying if were going keep on winning we have to throw the ball cuz we sucked as an offense verus South Dakota State come on for real so we can we expect this thursday or next week with texas if all they have to do is force taylor to throw defense shouldnt have to keep bailing us out

  5. .AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT KINNIE N PAUL R GETTING UPSET TO IT'S DROPPIN THEIR DRAFT STOCK

wow yeah thats the kinda drama we dont need.........

anyways i would love to see your bro out there.. and i agree we need to throw the ball sometimes (BUT our staff will do only WHAT we need to win and right now we win with running the ball... this is also coupled with the fact that TM is sort of a work in progress throwing the ball.....)

    heres to team unity :koolaid2:

this aint drama its the truth taylor can not throw and by only making him run all the time its not going help his arm at all thats what im tryin say

  6. dats because these coaches got my bro on da sideline watchin instead of playin he's one of da best wr's on the team so can someone please tell these play calling coaches to throw the ball or just change to green he's a throwin first qb not a runner.dont get me wrong now i love dat we are winning but down the line there will be a team dat can stop the run so what we goin do then.AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT KINNIE N PAUL R GETTING UPSET TO IT'S DROPPIN THEIR DRAFT STOCK

  7. i dont think he is running first team already. thats very very unlikely imo...

there's a big difference between working with the first team offense and being first team. i don't know exactly how they run their practices, but if there is a group of 5-6 kids "working with the first team", it wouldn't be too shocking for him to be one of them. i also would presume that the kid's brother might have a little more of a scoop on what's happening at practice than most here.

as it stands, after niles and kinnie, we've got a couple of guys that are likely to see the field in khiry cooper and curenski. that's it. sure, the other guys could be great (and i do expect to see brokemeier on the field in some capacity), but there's no reason to think that SJB couldn't already be our 5th or 6th best receiver.

Yeah, I'd say with 23 WR's on the roster (maybe more) there could easily be 6-7 on the "first team" - He has a HUGE gap to cover between himself and cooper/gilleylen. Knowing the playbook is VERY important in this offense, and you don't learn that overnight. I think we saw that with Kinnie last year - athletism alone will not earn you playing time. By the end of the year he was a solid contributer though.

Also, if he's a 4 for 4 guy why is he listed as a sophmore on the roster?

yea i hear you thats true about working with the first team or being on it well right now wr spot is wide open for #1-whatever and the roster was cut down to 105 today so they're not that most wideouts on the roster now also he is still a redshirt-freshman the equt. people didnt login his info right they goin change it

  8. From Florida to Oregon. Unusual.

Not as unusual as you think. Oregon recruits nationally like a Nebraska, and with the facilities they have kids fall in love with that school. They already have a 4 star QB committed named jerrad randall from hollywood, FL.

now dey got sumler hope we can pull him away frm oregon later in the year really can use him at slot or DB

  9. I am so excited to see SJB on the field. The fact that Cooper worked his way up to significant playing time by the end of last season proved our lack of whatever at wide receiver. The is playing time there for SJB and I'm hoping he takes it and makes the most of it.

Don't worry he will take advantage of it for real

Thanks for posting big bro! So what does Stanley think of Nebraska? Is he really excited?

He really likes it he just hopes they opening up the passing game wit him and the other wr corp talent there

Welcome to HuskerBoard, big bro. :thumbs

Looking forward to watching SJB. The sooner he master's the playbook, the better his chances of seeing some quality playing time. I'm pulling for him and hope you're right about him. I wouldn't be mad if he did make an immediate impact this year. We need all the help we can get from our WR corp.

Best of luck to the young man.

yep u aint lying hard its hard dats why he'll be up a week early just to start learning da plays
