Nebraska is just as bad as the Dallas cowboys!! Both have won 5 titles and we both have not done crap since the 90's! I am one irritated sports fan! Why do we always crap down our leg under pressure! I love Nebraska football and I can not switch teams because Nebraska football feels like its a part of me but man I feel like a loser being a Nebraska Fan, it is almost embarrasing I'm 21 and I never got to enjoy watching Nebraska football back when we won titles in 1994,1995,1997. I was only 7 years old in 1997... I still live in the eric crouch days and I still have my 2002 Rose bowl T shirts. I just wish that we could at least win a concerence title!!!! That would make me elated!!

Comparing a NFL team to a college football team has all kinds of FAIL in it.....

Well I have lived in Texas for the past 10 years and I am a CowboyFan.. I was Born in Nebraska and all my family is up there and I am a diehard corn head. Im not really comparing I am just saying that I am a fan of both and both of my teams FAIL right now...

I shrugged off the Northwestern loss relatively quickly, was not overally upset and was pretty optimistic about us still having a chance of getting into B1G Championship game. But man this loss looks and feels even worse 2 weeks later now seeing that we have to rely on (0-6)(1-9) Indiana or (2-4)(5-5) Northwestern to save our B1G Championship hopes. I'm no way trying to be a negative Nancy but man I thought that Iowa had a coin toss chance of beating Michgan state seeing that MSU has not beat Iowa @ Iowa since 1989. Really awesome how we can lose to an unranked team with a losing record at home and then how we can beat #12 Penn state in their house on the road under all the circumstances surrounding the program. .... Looks like we will all be cheerleaders and be forced into supporting the purple kitties on the last game of their season.. LOL because we all know that Indiana has no chance in hell of beating Sparty.

I am really excited about going to spring game tomorrow. I flew in Thursday night from Dallas Texas and have been spending time with my family down here in Omaha. I actually have not been inside Memorial stadium since I was 2-3 years old around 1992 The only 2 husker games that I have been to are the 2005 Valero Alamo bowl and the game last year @ Iowa state. I have had a pretty good time so far, I have been drinking a lot so far and I have been enjoying my fill of Runza so far. =)

Too bad we can't see it here in Lincoln thanks to TimeWarner being asshats and not carrying the NFL Network.

Well I find it frustrating that we did not make any progress this season. I would of been happy enough with an 11 win season and a victory over washington.

Our 11th win will come against a team that we already beat by 35 points in their own stadium. Year 1 = 9 wins year 2 = 10 wins year 3 = 11 wins... I guess we are going to win 12 next year.

I've cruised through this thread and I haven't seen anyone mention the Husker baseball players (Andy Gerch, etc.) who were suspended for selling their equipment to Scheels in 2008. Gerch got a 12-game suspension (20% of the season), while the others got six games (a little more than 10% of the season).

 

The OSU players' suspensions would amount to greater than 1/3 of their games, which seems excessive to me.

Guys just take it easy on the kid, he is a kid after all. He can make whatever choice he wants, just because he decided to go to Arkansas doesn't make him a P.O.S.

It's not the fact that he commited to arkansas its the fact that he waited to decommit after several months of being commited to NU,that is just a bunch of horse crap I would rather have him pull an OWA on us then to stay commited to us and then pull the Trigger on arkansas late in the recruitng process. If you are not commited to playing football for Nebraska then do not "Commit" to us.

CB may be our deepest position with young gun players. It’s quite possible the Mitchell kid would never see the field. Maybe he just wanted to stay close to home and sign with a team with less competition at CB. That, and big momma getting her snout in the Hog trough.
