Trying to schedule some stuff and wondering what time our game with Minnesota will be.  Has anyone heard anything?

Any ideas on what time our game with Michigan will be?  I'm trying to schedule some stuff and really hope it's a night game.

Interesting that this season we don't seem to have the excitement over when alternate uniforms might be released.  Maybe that fad has passed?  

I did read the article this morning and found it to be very interesting.  Great writing.  

Having coaches without ties to Nebraska ruined our in-state recruiting.

I don't remember being this excited for the football season to start in a long time.  Even when we lose this season I am confident we will play hard and won't be hanging our heads on the sideline.  It feels like everything has changed and we are slowly getting back to where we should be.  I'm excited to read about the players, coaches, and even to see what silly alternate uniforms we might be wearing, LOL!

For the first time in a long time, we came out on top. I am so proud of how all of this was handled. Moos was a great hire for the athletic department.

The local media seems as thrilled about Frost as all of us, but I am shocked by the lack of good vibes toward the Frost hire from Damon Benning.  What’s his deal? Sour grapes? 

Assuming it is Frost, what day do all of you think an official announcement would be made?

I agree about Unsportsmanlike.  I'm listening right now and it's hard to not change the station.  They spend too much time on stupid stuff and trying to act funny.  It gets old.  Plus, Josh needs to learn that sometimes silence is golden.  No need to interrupt all the time.

Sharp and Benning - My favorite.  

Game Time with Nick Bahe - It's ok.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct - I loved this show during the Kugler-Severe years.  I wish Sharp and Benning would be moved to the afternoon because Bishop can get on my nerves and Peterson constantly interrupts anyone who is trying to make a point.

Big Red Wrap Up - I really enjoy this show.  

I really don't think we have competition.  I don't know anymore than what all of you know, but I just feel like Frost is our next coach.

How much was Eichorst calling the shots on who you hired?

The vast majority of Husker fans want Riley gone, so if Moos reverses his decision and fires Riley before the end of the season are fans really going to be upset with Moos? Sometimes things change and a person (in this case an athletic director) needs to change his or her mind.

i guess I don’t get the people who act like Moos is a liar or something if he fires Riley early.

I agree.  I can see there being many empty seats at the Iowa game.  The tickets are already sold, I believe, but empty seats is a bad sign.

Lets pretend that Moos has not done anything as far as talking with Frost.  Assuming Riley is fired on Nov 25th, how soon do you think Frost would be announced (assuming he wants the job)?

At this point I see absolutely no chance of Riley being retained.  It would destroy the program.  I truly believe that.
