On the field, I agree, but let's face it: college football is big business. In terms of revenue and media exposure it doesn't get any B1GGER than the Big Ten. Hence your well-advised decision to join up with us and jilt the fading Big XII.

Wrong. You're thinking of the University of Chicago. UI-Chicago is a school that stupid kids or kids who can't afford to go to Urbana or just about any other school in Illinois go to. Big difference.

UIC's a pretty good college. Certainly on a par with Northern Illinois. I wonder if you're thinking of Chicago State?

I will disagree with any division that splits up Minnesota and Wisconsin. If they want to split up Us from Iowa or Mich, then fine, but Ive always considered Wisconsin our biggest rival

There's no way the Big Ten would ever split up Wisconsin and Minnesota. You don't cast aside Paul Bunyan's axe and a 115 year-long consecutive rivalry. Even if it's a forgone conclusion that we'll kick your ass every year

Edit: and aside from the other obvious benefits of joining the Big Ten, Nebraska fans will get a much better educated set of puerile blowhards talking smack on your board. I can only imagine the barely literate ramblings you had to endure in that *other* conference.
