  1. Who gives a sh#t where we play? Thats partly why we are leaving... no sense in complaining about it when we already did something about it. We shut up, go down to Arlington, put an exclamation point on the end of this great rivalry, take their trophy with A straight face, and spit in Bebe's eye on the way out. where we play doesn't matter, at all.

  2. from the article

"I do, however, concede that referees are humans who can be influenced by their feelings toward certain other humans. So I ask you, if you're a ref, and you've spent the entire night being verbally accosted by a coach, do you think that would motivate you to keep your flag in you pocket or do the exact opposite?"

so it's ok for the refs to totally screw the players if they are mad at the coach? seems like that is what he is saying...isn't it? isn't it the job of the refs to call a fair game and not influence the outcome with skewed gamecalling no matter the reason? what if their reason for skewing the calls was because they had money on the game? would that also be ok? if they graduated from the school that they were favoring would that be ok? there are many personal reasons to make or not make calls.....but thier job is to remain professionals and call the game as fairly as they can. they owe it to the players and fans even if the coach is being an ass.

Agreed.... he came dangerously close to excusing the refs. I don't care if Bo murdered your family, you call a fair game dammit. Otherwise get off the field. And they try to make it seem like Bo was yelling about something other than bad calls.... he's yelling because the zebras aren't doing their job.... its not okay to use that as fuel for more bad calls.

  3. Why would the refs change up and call a fair game for Colorado? There is even more at stake in this game so I expect a driving yellow rain of flags on Friday.

Are there things that we can improve on? There are things we HAVE to improve on to give us a chance. But the begging question at this point is.... if we improve enough to win, will it matter?

If you're a player, you have to keep your head down and not worry about this. But as a fan, I'm not sure there is too much we can do.

  4. Reality is setting in here...

We will not win the Big 12... not because we won't play well enough to win, but because the big 12 has shown that they will not allow it to happen. Let's be real folks, our destiny has been taken out of our hands and there is not a whole lot that we can do about it.

  5. Hats off to PR on giving us Hell for the second straight year.

That being said... I remember Bo talking about how TO gave the advice of not getting too up or too down in coaching situations because it gives the players a false perception of what is expected. Makes me think of a straight faced TO after winning it all in 94.

When I see Paul Roads bawlling like a baby after a win in lincoln.. and running around like he won the national championship after a field goal yesterday, it makes me think he will never win a conference title.

  6. My dog spilled my milk at breakfast the other morning. I was eating a big meal of steak and eggs... so it was sure tough to finish the meal without the refreshing feeling of washing it all down with that glass of milk. To make matters worse, I had nothing else to drink. I really wanted that milk, I can't believe it got spilled. Things would be so much better if I could have got my milk that day. If only it wouldn't have gotten spilled..... oh the possibilities.

  7. With Martin out does anyone think Kunalic kicking EVERY SINGLE KICKOFF out the back of the end zone was an accident?

Well I think Adi tries to get it out of the end zone every time, for the most part. I mean would a player really be coached to kick the ball short to try and force worse field position than the 20 yard line? Our kick coverage has been OK this year but it's been a little porous at other times as well. It seems like the safer bet to just let it go out of the end zone.

Just because we can place them at the twenty yard line on command doesn't mean that we aren't going to try to pin them inside their 20 from time to time.
