If my kid was on Jersey Shore being a drunk, but not committing any crimes, I would prefer that over a baseball playing kid that did And if the kid was stuck in the minors for more than about three years, I'd advise him to move on with his life.

 

You obviously never watched/payed any attention to baseball. Let me fill you in, sometimes it takes kids who are between the ages of 19-22 three years to break into the Majors. All the while, when they are playing triple a or double a they are still making really good money.

Whats a baseball playing kid? If my son played Football, would he be considered a football playing kid? Wouldn't it be easier to say "a kid playing baseball?"

If MTv feels like paying the characters that much for doing stupid stuff that millions of people watch, whatever, welcome to the free market, but getting $33 million for swinging a silly bat and catching a ball with a silly glove and wearing a stupid uniform is equally, if not more ridiculous when you really think about it.

 

Yea cuz doing the fist pump in a night club is as difficult as hitting a 95 mph fastball. You definitely nailed it. The Jersey Shore cast contributes nothing to society, how do they deserve to even be allowed in America, let alone make a penny? The are everything a human being shouldn't be. I bet if you asked any one of them what 2+2=....they would tell you 3 because that is just how dumb they actually are.

My point is, the marketplace puts a price on different items, in this case "entertainment" and if it is determined that fist pumping idiot "guidos" should make $100k an episode or an equally tanned, gold glove wearing "guido" should make $33 million per season, well, maybe I should have skipped college and gone to the New Jersey shore or gone to batting practice instead of to the library to study.

There are numerous Baseball players that have something that the Jersey Shore crew haven't earned and its called a College Degree. Not only is Baseball the America's pastime but its a great sport to attend to with your family in a friendly atmosphere (unless you're at a Dodgers/Giants game) while enjoying a hotdog, popcorn, etc.

 

Everything on MTV is utter GARBAGE. MTV creating shows like the Jersey Shore or 16 and Pregnant among others are basically telling/encouraging society that its ok for you to be pregnant at 16 or talking like a bunch of retards that lack more than 5 words in their vocabulary while dressing like douchebags and sl#ts

Plus the fact, that when they actually go to work on the days they are supposed to work on the show, they leave and get drunk or sleep behind boxes. Yep I think that kind of hard work deserves 100K. Way to go MTV, way to make a great reality tv show. That is exactly how it is in real life.

Not sure if it's related to this ncaa decision, but almost all of the Rivals articles are free right now. It used to be the other way around, with almost none of them being free.

Come on guys let's get the facts straight here a Holstein is a cow not a pig, comparing her to either of those animals is just disrespectful to those fine beasts. That's the nicest word I could think of with out burning up the language filters. I despise this show with an absolute passion. I really don't care for mtv anymore and this is one of the biggest reasons why (not to mention that teen mom garbage and the fact that they don't really play music anymore )

 

I had honestly never heard of her until the South Park episode. They did a pretty good job with her portrayal too.

The only music that is played on MTV anymore is on the MTV Hits channel. And I agree teen mom is a garbage tv show. Why the hell would I want to watch a girl younger than me (im only 19) struggle being even a decent mother and her boyfriend being a total coward. I don't feel sorry for them, they got what was coming to them.

What is so bad about the three point shot? How are guards supposed to score points on offense without it? Take to the whole against a 7 footer who camps in the lane? If anything it helps the game. It does not take away fast break offense because I still see plenty of that from turnovers.

And this is not a better brand of basketball. It may be a joke, but it is somewhat true.

I'm so ready for the NBA playoffs now. Enough of this college horse sh#t. I want real intense basketball.

That could have been the worst basketball game I've ever watched. I've never seen so many missed lay ups, missed free throws, missed three pointers....Oh and did I mention so many missed lay ups. Damnit Butler does not even deserve the title Runner Up after that performance.

I still don't understand why Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg, and Steve Kerr were chosen for the announcing cast for this game. Stupid CBS, so stupid.

Even though both teams aren't shooting well, they're still fighting hard for every rebound and loose ball. Its turning into a dog fight, which is still fun to watch.

This is a very sloppy game...both teams need to straighten things out.

Both teams need to relax and work out the jitters. I know its the championship, but christ I wanna see somebody score.

Agreed. I am cheering for Butler too. Pretty amazing to make it to back to back National Championship games especially as a midmajor. They have really impressed me this year.

I know, back to back appearances are always impressive. Especially after their best player Gordon Hayward left for the NBA, just imagine if he was still on the team.
